What doll size do you consider most "fun" ?

Sep 29, 2013

    1. Msds for me, hands down. To me, they're not too big or too small. I love all sizes though, im planning on getting and sd and a couple of tinies.

    2. I started in the hobby with MSDs as they were big enough but still mature.
But in time I have discovered I have more fun with Yo-SDs as I can carry them everywhere so easily and play with them anywhere ^w^

    3. I've only had MSD's and YoSD's so far, and my favorite of the two is the MSD size.
To me, they are a good size to hold and pose.

    4. By far my favorite are SDs. They have the most "presence" imo. :)

    5. I love me some SD dolls cause they are hugable sizes and I love to see them on display. I also think tinies are funny because they are like the opposite size of why I enjoy so they seem bite size to me haha

    6. Sd sizes have so much more description!:)

    7. I like the really tiny ones (below 20 cm) because they're super-portable and you can take those fun "tiny person next to everyday objects" pictures. :)

    8. I would love a 70+ cm doll, they seem really sturdy, thatll be my next purchase. But i think the MSD's are the best s they are in between mini and SD, the cute factor is still there and they are sturdy.

    9. I adore the aesthetic and realism that tends to come with SD + sizes, so they make up the bulk of my collection - most of the fun from those guys comes with working out how to perfect the numerous looks I have for them. It's the "ultimate customisable action figure" end of the hobby that I enjoy.

In terms of poseable, less "my precious that must not be touched by human hands" fun, I'm loving the smaller more portable size of the three MSDs I own, they're almost on a par with my other collection of high end 1/6 scale figures in that respect (by Hot Toys and their competitors, though I confess a few in that collection are also in the must not be touched category! :sweat)

    10. MSD and smaller. I find the really large dolls harder to handle, store, display. Also sometimes the clothes are more expensive.

    11. Seeing as how I've had three and am going for another, I have to say mine is MSDs. They're just light and small enough without being too small to do anything with.

    12. I really like the YOSD size. I feel more comfortable with the smaller dolls. Even if shopping for them is a bit of a pain. They are also so cute!

    13. I don't own any dolls yet, but I think the larger the doll the better looking.
When I do purchase they will all most likely be SD sized dolls.

    14. I only own tinies, yosd and msd. I really like yosd and msd! I don't know if I would ever like a bigger doll but I'm not a super fan of tinies though I'm okay with the ones I have.

    15. I have 3 SD sized girls, but I definitely play with my tinies the most. I've always loved miniature things, so tinies all the way!

    16. I've always liked 1/3 size. The larger than that size is OK, but kind of big and heavy. 1/3 is better, I think. 1/4 is easy... but for some reason I still like 1/3.

    17. Right now I love my MSD more than my SD. I like their smaller size. It's easier to take them around and do spontaneous photoshoots. But I might only like MSD's more right now, because my SD is difficult to pose (an old migidoll body) even with new elastics.

    18. I'm loving my Pukifee, her size is perfect for dollhouses and small accessories. I think I'll enjoy the 1/6 size dolls too, since they're at a playscale they also fit well for accessories and dioramas.

    19. I found out dolls can get HUGE. And it threw me off. I assumed something under 50 cm's. Which is pretty much my "fun" zone. I can see the advantage of bigger dolls though. Much more room for creating thing for them.

    20. tinies :3nodding: (around 16cm)
It's really fun because it's easy to create a miniature world for them (dollhouse, diorama)
