What doll size do you consider most "fun" ?

Sep 29, 2013

    1. I don't own MSD or YOSD yet and I don't think I'll go 70+ cm ever but I enjoy SD size! It's large enough to be detailed and easier to make things for compared to smaller dolls and I don't find them THAT huge so I'm sure I can find a little spot for them to be stored at.

    2. I had a phase where I preferred MSDs as the sorta happy medium, but now I'm all about SDs. I just love the weight of them. And the size is just astounding sometimes. Sometimes I just look at them and think damn you're big...and awesome. Plus their clothes and accessories are more detailed b/c they can be. And idk how many of you have man hands, but they make sewing tiny stuff difficult at times. SDs are bigger so their stuff is bigger and thus easier to sew. One last thing, the price. For me the price cap for SDs goes pretty high as in I look at them and go "yeah she's worth $600" but when I see a tiny or an MSD that costs more than my biggest SD I usually laugh. Which is usually followed by "heck for that much money I might as well get an SD"

    3. SD size, 60 cm and above, like Iplehouse EID, they are perfect size for my taste, not super huge and not super small, fun to sew for them and accessorize them

    4. I think all doll sizes are fun! Though, I guess right now, I think that the 'most' fun would be the MSD size, but, I might be just a bit bias seeing as my only bjd is that size. xD

    5. I have dolls from MSD to tinies and while I love all my dolls the tinies have a special place in ny heart. They're so easily transported I take them everywhere.

    6. Anywhere from 20 something to 40 something cm. I have an 11 cm (holy geez is she tiny!) but I've never had a 20-30 cm before, I have two MSDs though. I'm aiming to get at least one of every size or handle one of each size to see how I'd like them :3 I feel like I'd really like tinies though. Just not finding clothes for them xD

    7. I think is 1/6 doll, they are so cute, easy to take them to everywhere, they are light and small you can travelling with them and take photos! The most important thing is they are soooooooooo lovely!!!!!!!!!:D

    8. I love Slim msd and yosd and under.
I want more slim yosd like resin soul and planet doll or even sugarable.

    9. So far the ones I have the most fun with are the SD-size dolls. I don't know why, but I really enjoy posing them and dressing them even though they're really big and sometimes give me more difficulty than my smaller dolls.

    10. I have msd with me, and love to play with him, much more than my sd sized one, maybe because my msd is much more lighter than sd one:sweat and I'm not strong enough to play in a long time with my sd size one...need to work out I guess...

    11. Though I have (and make) tinys but I prefer SD/70+, they are the most fun for me. It's much easier to sew on them and to create accessories for them, because of their size.

    12. I definitely prefer 1/6 size dolls. Back in the early and mid 2000s I only had 1/4 and 1/3 because 1/6 wasn't that common.
I always wanted one. When I finally got one I was totally in love with the size <3 I like the fact I can put a 1/6 almost anywhere I am without it getting in the way.
Sometimes I'll put one on my desk or where I'm working etc. I still don't mind 1/4 though :3 I feel 1/6 are more cute and 1/4 are more beautiful.

    13. Well, I haven't had any experience with yosds or sds, I do really like the msds. They seem to be the right size for me.

    14. For me it depends on what I feel like doing!

I have a YoSD and she's adorable and cute and so fun for taking around as she's tiny and light. She's also really fun to pose with props and tiny toys.

I've also got a bunch of MSDs and I find them really fun to pose and photograph, and also relatively easy to transport.

Then there's the SDs, who take up a lot more space and are heavy so taking them places isn't as easy.. that said I find them a lot easier to paint and sew for. There also seems to be a lot more available in clothes and shoes so just styling them is amazing.

So I guess it really depends, I really like having a variety!

    15. I have an off-topic tiny that I have taken with me for many adventures. As a lot of other people have pointed out, the small size of tinies makes them easy to transport in a purse or a pocket.

I have been wanting to get an MSD to actually take out to meets and the like. That size of dolls seems like it will be easier to transport than an SD, but still be big enough to hold and easy enough to find things for. :3

    16. For me it would have to be MSD! I love the convenience. Not too large or too small. Fits in my arm, not too heavy!
I was just planning to buy another MSD! ^^

    17. I think all of them will have their own benefit from sizes. As for me because I'm starting out to build my dolls family, I'm gonna stick to MSD first <3

    18. SD (60cm) is my personal fav, but I'm v biased because I only have SDs and have never had another size ;) I kinda want to branch out into MSD sizes but I don't know if I would want anything smaller than 30cm or bigger than 65cm. Who knows what the future holds tho!

    19. At the beginning of this hobby I did prefer MSD, because they were very easy to carry and over all.. well.. smaller ^^

But now I'm really into SD. They are just about right size and even when they sometimes act like poop when I'm taking photos of them I love them (MSDs are way easier to pose tough)

    20. I currently have an MSD. She is pretty entertaining. And I am looking to get an SD girl for the larger scale of things. However, if I ever get an 11cm doll, I am terrified I would form an addiction and have an army of tinies crawling all over the place, so safe to say, I consider them a lot of fun.
