Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I honestly hadn't thought about it until today but I did get quite a few from DOA! My Freya head, my pukipuki flora, one of my soom aren dolls. I also got a F14 sort of through DOA someone saw my WTB and sent me to madarake and I got her ^___^ I love the marketplace.

    3. I know I hear about dolls from DoA's News threads... And I definitely see dolls in Galleries that make me run and buy them. Some were totally because I saw photos on DoA, and others were because I went to the dolls websites... but Den of enAblers is pretty much at the root of everything bjd! Even Off-topic dolls! *_*

    4. Pretty much ALL my dolls except the very first one I got. I bought a Dolkot model Lucifer on a glamor female body, all on my own. There was only ever one grainy photo of another Lucifer on DoA and it was no help at all in making my decision.

      All the rest of my dolls are a direct result of seeing them here first. I remember I fell completely in love with Cuprit Black Frost from Midnitestar7's avatar a couple years back by now. And then I discovered the DoA marketplace--I do as much research there on doll sculpts as anywhere else!

      The only doll I didn't learn about here first was Daisy Dayes Elise centaur. I figured she'd be OT here so I didn't bother looking her up. I think I found out information on her through BJDcollectasy or Resincafe? I don't recall now.

    5. Without DoA, I would have never found my what company my doll belonged to. I had just saw her style at a convention and they didn't know the name either! When I got on here, I found her in less than an hour! I also bought her 2nd hand from someone in the market place! Much <3 to Den of Angels.

    7. Soom Chrom! I saw one for sale on the MP, the one with gauges, blue eyes and the default face-up. I thought he was awesome, but I didn't have the money for him at the time. Then when a Chrom head popped up on the MP for a great price, I snagged him :) He looks even better in person!

    9. I haven't yet but my next doll has been changed due to this forum. I intended to buy an Impldoll Erica but I started to dislike her face after seeing the owner pictures. After looking through the Impldoll discussions I fell in love with Ziv so I a saving up for an Impldoll Ziv on a Star body.

      As a result of joining DoA I bought my first bjd at an anime con. That was my ResinSoul Lian. Since then I have either bought directly from DoA members or went searching for BECAUSE of DoA:

      Bunch of floating head minimees
      and have on layaway a minimee Brad Pitt Louis Vampire and an Angel Egg Umi

    17. I'm sure there have been a couple for me that I have wanted to buy. Lol.
      Not that I remember which ones, as I haven't been around the forum for a while.
      But I do remember a couple.
      I know me buying my MD Jina head was a result of this wonderful place.
      I was looking at past convention meet ups around where I live and saw Jina as I boy.
      I didn't know what the mold was and I asked and was completely shocked at how awesome this Jina looked.
      I had seen Jina as a boy before, but this one was the best one I saw ans made me want one. Lol.

      The other one I remember is the wonderful Soom Dia Boy.
      I was looking at the database for Dia and saw her as a boy and was amazed at how her looked.
      I always thought Dia looked like a guy, but I never thought of making her and actual boy doll.
      So when I saw it actually done I was amazed and new I had to have one!

I am really thankful for the large marketplace here because otherwise I would not have been able to get my YoSD because they are limited and I'd probably have to pay an agent to get one for me. I'm glad there is a second hand market so I can get limited event items too. On the flip side, there are too many beautiful dolls here without homes and it's dangerous because a few times I almost bought on impulse. @_@

      Also wanted to add that I wouldn't even have considered my BlueFairy Louis if it weren't for the owner's photos here. Some molds I really fall in love with because of the photos here by DoA members. Bad influence, hahah ^^"

    19. My MW junior (and next MW doll) are both direct results of DoA, I never would have seen them otherwise. My Dollzone girl i found out about through another site before i joined DoA.
      Also thanks to the DoA marketplace i was able to get one of the Dollzone event dolls. Otherwise i'd never have gotten it because i wasn't willing to shell out money for a big doll just to get the tiny one x.x.
