  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I would only have my first two dolls, Shadow and Evren. Praedius, Vash, Deemontai, and Arlian were all bought in the marketplace here.

    2. Well, I certainly wouldn't have my MSD volks Nasia, Brodie. I got her here on the marketplace for quite a deal. And I had never even seen the head mold that I fell in love with instantly if I hadn't seen that sale. :D

    3. Hmm. Well when I first saw the Aru (my newest love) I didn't think much of her. Then I saw her on here without the horrible makeup (maybe it isn't so bad in person but on the site it's just toooooo much) that luts puts on her, and I love her! I mean, no dolly needs that red of lips. I don't want to offend anyone here, it's just my opinon.

    4. I bought Anatoly as a result of seeing so many Els on this forum. When I first saw him on Luts I was kinda meh but after being constantly exposed to him and all the ways he could look... he just kinda grew on me.

    5. Well, 2 of mine came as a direct result of DoA. My CP Yder I bought mostly because I saw one that actually looked good (the first Luts pictures of Yder were horrible...), so I was convinced to go through with buying him. Then my MSD f-10 I bought from someone on this forum, and I probably never would have considered him otherwise if it weren't for finding that specific one.

    7. I think the first doll that DOA helped to influence a purchase was my CP/Luts Moon.

      His Redemption photos were not very flattering, and I didn't think he was very handsome, at all.

      But, when I saw owner pix of him, I fell in love! I can thank Byouyuuken's Twin Moons; Hiritai's Vin, and Lethanon's Shinji for my change of heart. All those boys made a believer out of me!

    8. I don't think I would have ended up with the boys I have if it wasn't for this forum. I probably would have went ahead and gotten the KDF Ttori I had been saving for before I came across Too way back when.

    9. Apart from the Sabik...my first one who I brought as direct result of his resemblence to Soubi from Loveless (the manga/anime - who I heart MASSIVELY) and the IO which I have because I'm now obsessed with Soom....every other sculpt I have has been the result of seeing owner pictures on DOA.

      I wouldn't have my Sard, Ryu, Miho, Gentle Soori or the Soah on the way without it...I love the Database.so.much.

      Probably too much...;)

    10. My DOC Zen, for sure. I bought him from the marketplace here and I fell in love with his face. I've never regretted purchasing him!

      My Volks Maggie, too... I'd never really considered Volks dolls until I saw her here on the marketplace and I eyed her for *days* before finally deciding to buy her.

    11. Chaos Aurora: I did the same thing, kinda, with Aru. I fell in love with her on the site, but only because i poked at her in photoshop and realized shew ouldnt look so ill or soulsucking with different eyes and less blush. Granted, i'd basically decided i wanted her before i saw default pics, even WITH default faceup, but the very very VERY few owner pics isaw helped a bit. I saw i think ONE aru, (shes so underloved!) and i managed to see a blank aru along the way, so that reallyhelped =] (also, luts was amazing and didnt pound on the blush like i requested XD; )

      As for direct influence? Kanon, my Kumi. Only cause i got her from the marketplace XD

      Also, my mnf chiwoo, who's head i also got from teh marketplace. i never liked chiwoo, but some owner pics made me think maybe he was okay, but i still never really cared for him. Somehow along the way i decided that mold would be good for one of my characters, and i started to consider getting him. Then i saw the head for sale for cheap in the mp and snagged it XD

      As for future purchases, i intend to get an sdf Bliss one day, and just from the luts pics i didnt like him, but i saw a few users pics, especially one user in particular, and i fell in love with his possiblities.


      ...pukis too. I fell in love with them upon release, but i'd decided they were waaaay too small for me. Then i got them anyway XD

    13. Both of my Catsys. I did not care for the big Elfdolls when I first ran across the site, but then I saw the adorable Catsy here on the Den. So I had to have her and thankfuly she was rereleased. And then since I had a Catsy, I just had to get her a sister when Black Catsy came out. :)

      And my Elf Lishe falls into this catagory. I did not care for her much from the Luts photos, but realized later on with owner pictures that the mold was near perfect for a concept I had in my head. I would never have been able to find one if not for the marketplace.

    14. Actually, it was the company feedback thread from here that really gave me the shove to purchase my first BJD! :) It was very good feedback ... which just gave me confidence, really. I remember considering a DollKot doll, but reading the company feedback put me off a little.

    19. Well I wouldn't have a good few of mine if it weren't for pictures and threads I saw on here; especially in the marketplace! I bought my little Esmee second hand in the marketplace and I wouldn't be getting Fubuki (CH Hyun), Shamiso (CH Event Bisou), and Nerissa (Puki Piki) if it weren't for GO's going on here ^^ And when I saw user pics of SDF Bliss I knew he had to be my boy, Saku! ^^

    20. At first after seeing Van at AS I just imagined and considered having him. After seeing so many photos of zero_1900 I changed consideration and imagination to really ordering him and now he's on his way. :D
      That would have never happened if I wasn't on DoA. The promo pictures are just no match for zero's!
      However, my Mayou came without any futher DoA-influence. :)
