  2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. What dolls have I bought as a direct result of DoA?

      From the total # of dolls I have had, 1 Puki, 1 Volks school head then later her DD2 body, my DZ Fox and lately saving for a Sooah.

      All of that is DoA's Fault;)

    3. Hmm... you know I had to come back to this because I really had to think on it . and I can say this with full all out honesty.. I bought my Hound because of DOA. had I never joined here and seen Grimm, I wouldn't have Lysander. That is the only doll I bought because of DOA...everyone else was because I just plain wanted them..

    7. I saw a news thread about Iple House Cocori and fell in love with her. I have Ngozi now thanks to DoA :). Like many other people on this thread, I have seen some beautiful face ups on dolls I felt indifferent about when I saw them on their company sites. Those have certainly influenced my future doll plans.

    8. I never would have found Lady Saiyuki's dolls without this forum, and wouldn't have even dreamed of owning my little Sascha, a lilac Hanyuu. Same with my tinybears bracken Brinx.

      I think all of them were influenced by the forum in some way, by introducing me to new company links, or showing owner pics to catch my interest. But my two member designed dolls are a for sure never without DOA.

    9. For me... I'd say pretty much all of them. :sweat Most of my dolls were bought secondhand right here on the Marketplace. The few "new from the company" dolls I've purchased were ones I discovered through checking the News threads here. There's just no way for me to visit every doll site daily, so I check the News forum daily instead. I never would have found Soom's Beryl in time for the order period otherwise, or my MNF Shiwoo Elf twins.

    11. i probably wouldn't have ordered my doll from Customhouse's 50% sale. Sure i knew customhouse and i had an eye on Sunny, but i dismissed ever buying her, due to other things. But when i found out about the 50% sale i jumped at the chance hehe...now i'm just waiting...

    14. I found Tae before I even joined DoA, but if I wasn't a member here, I wouldn't have bought my incoming MD Ryu, since I bought him in the Marketplace. ^^

    15. A good majority of my dolls are results of me falling in love with them from owner pictures in the forums. Only the first couple (both of my kid delfs and my puki) were bought because I had gone to meetups and actually got to see and handle them firsthand. Dimitri (Bada) was the first doll I bought that would have been pretty impossible for me to find any other place but here. About half of my dolls are from the marketplace.

      Toki, by MD Ryu was my first love, but it took me a long time to actually get my hands on one. I'd totally swoon every time I saw a picture of a Ryu in the galleries. :fangirl:

I bought two dolls before joining DoA, but practically every doll since has been a result of being a participant in this forum :) I directly would not have my Soulkid Harang, Souldoll Hye, Volks Kurenai and CP Lishe head without being a member because I bought them from the Marketplace, and indirectly, I would not have an SDC Kurt, Puki Cupid, Dollfie Dream or MiniFee Rheia or be paying for a SOOM Glot if I hadn't seen owner pictures here!

    17. Well...I haven't bought him yet but he's on my list thanks to DoA. I remember someone mentioning a DoD U for sale that they might bring to the Ikkicon meet. I was already saving for my first girl at the time but I was in the habit of looking up any doll that I saw the name of to try and familiarize myself with more dolls. Once I saw him I knew exactly that he was one of my characters and which one. *_* I just got my first girl and already have my first boy lined up, thanks to DoA.

    18. Hm... at first I thought it was only one or two, but other than the first doll, DoA had something to do with all of them. One came from the marketplace, one was in a GO (which I joined thanks to the news threads), and the remaining ones I actually have here and now came from events advertised in the news forum.

      And the ones on order are either parts of GOs or limiteds I found through the news forum.

    19. My new Unoa boy ^^

      I never thought I really liked Unoas that much- I mean, they were cute, but I thought "Nah- that's not my style..." but now, I really really really like them- in fact, I'm planning for an Unoa girl eventually^.^

    20. I only have 2 dolls for now, a head and a Tiny... and we could say that both were bought because I was on DOA =3

      I would never have found Meredith (Juri 07 B) or have found the mold if I was not on DOA and I would never have Mirabeel (B&G Leile) if I did not meet new friends on here =3

      We could also say that all of those I will have since DOA is the place where I found all the info I need for everything about BJDs XD
