1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What emotion do you like your doll to have?

Apr 22, 2014

    1. I prefer more neutral sculpts. Sad dolls are interesting to see in photos, but I wouldn't want to own one--it would make me sad to look at it everyday.

    2. I like dolls with smiles on their faces

    3. I really love goofy cartoony looking smiles. I don't think I could do a sad or angry doll unless they were upset about something stupid- I have enough problems already, I don't need dolls being sad too!

    4. I like my doll to look calm and peaceful, so standard look is the best because it's easier by taking photos in long term. Extreme emotions like crying, having a big smile, yawning or showing teeth (a bit is ok) will be difficult to put character in story.

    5. I'd like a doll with either a slightly mischievous smirk or one with a very slight disinterested look.

    6. I prefer mine to have a more or less plain look. No extreme emotions. A little smirk or a small frown I could deal with. A big *you know what* eating grin just doesn't work for me. Unless I want a demented looking character who smiles all the time, like Harley Quinn.

    7. #1) I like them to look sad, orphan like, but that is only certain ones :(
#2) The others I like to look cute and pretty, and a few breathtaking. ;)

    8. I like all kinds, really. Depends on the personality you want for your doll, of course.

I don't usually go for extreme expressions--mostly because it makes my face hurt in sympathy after a while! But I do think they are cool! :D

    9. I also prefer dolls with neutral or pondering expressions.
Not that I don't like smiling dolls, but most of the time it's not done well and becomes really creepy in my opinion. Also a really sad or angry expression makes me sad for the doll for some reason. :sweat

    10. I prefer either a strong expression, a selfconfident one fit for a queen or a nice soft smile. I myself dislike sad expressions, because I want my doll to be happy. Or at least get the feeling she is.

    11. I think my dear April hates the whole world silently :-D
