What fits Soom Super Gem Females?

I just measured my Galena, 27cm, back to nipples. Then I took a piece of string and wrapped it around her, and measured that. 27cm. Perhaps you're measuring higher across the back than we are?

 

How old is your Dia? As I said, it could be a change in bodies somewhere along the line.

 

I measured as high as possible to try to replicate the 30cm, but I cannot. She's really just under 27, higher up the back just pushes it to 27 even. Here's my measurement- (pardon my nails!)



I set the measure to 30cm and took a picture, there's just no way, it's like a hula hoop.



I can only assume there's some sort of discrepancy between the bodies? But it's a rather large difference. For reference, my Galena is from 2009 (or early Jan 2010)

 

Possibly, I could be higher, I'm trying to get her as level as I can. :/

She's from late 2009. What prompted me to measure was a conversation I had with a girl a while back and she mentioned her girl (of the same year) had a bust size of 29, which took me by surprise.
I've put her back now as she's being boxed up to be sold. I will get her back down and try to upload a picture of her bust with the tape tomorrow while I still have her.
I mainly dressed her in dollmore clothing.

My Galena is from late 2009 or Jan 2010, I got her in Feb 2010, so... I can measure across my Coquina which I received in October, but I suspect the results are quite the same. 29 or 30cm is around the size of the Med Iplehouse EID bust, it's a massive difference!

 

Ah! She is a 28 after all lol I must have not had it as flat on her back as I thought I did, I was trying to lift her jumper at the time. I took the jumper below her waist this time and got it level against my leg so it couldn't slip.

I WAS WRONG!
I pulled it as tight as I could with the one the hand and taking the pic in the other, you might be able to see from the picture 27 is a perfect cm away from where she is in the chest area, I can't even get her down that far.
lol Right I can put her back on the cuboard now, I just HAD to know.

P.s Sorry that took so long I couldn't find my USB cable to connect my camera. But it is 2AM here, my mind is weak.
I also checked when she arrived it was June '09

 

That's still an interesting difference in size. I'll have to measure my husband's Coquina and see if it's an NS thing.

 

So from looking through this thread, I've found that Dollmore Model clothing, Souldoll Zenith clothing, IH SID clothing, some Volks SD16 sized clothing, and normal sized SD shoes all mostly fit. Soda makes dresses in SG size. Is there anything else I've missed? I'm trying to make a list to go on a mini shopping spree for my girls haha

 

Many people in the commission section have SG girls and will make perfectly fit cloths for SG girls.
Silje for one is my fav.
xinxiya of Nalishiko Workshop also makes SG size cloths. I haven't purchase from her yet but her design is *Super Beautiful*
I am currently commissioning Raouken for a corest piece. Still waiting but since she had already took SG commission before, I am positive her corset will fit.
lelahel also make gorgeous cloths in SG size.

Those are just a few that I am keeping my eyes on. Of course there are more talented tailors in the MP section.

I checked on soom and they've stated that SD13 Long Boy trousers are a perfect fit for the SG girls, so i was wondering would these jeans fit dia?
& also what is the perfect wig size for the SG girls? 8-9 or 9-10?

 

Despite what Soom thinks their wigs are, a 9-10 will just slide right off their heads. SuperGems are a definite 8-9, in fiber anyway. Fur wigs always measure a bit weird...

 

Definitely. However, Soom's own brand of 9-10 wigs fit them just fine. The magic of super stretchy wig caps perhaps? They are a solid 8-9 with any other brand.

I have one SD17 boy pants from TaTa that fits great on SG girl body. Only the pants is a bit longer. But with high heels, it's a perfect fit.

JrockHeven, before you go purchase those jeans, I have a pair of pants from Sadol that was made to fit my SDgr boy, this should be the same size as SD13 long leg. I will try it on my SG girl tonight.

My experience is that SD17 fits better... I have a pair of SD13 girl short pants from Dollmore that is very tight on my SG girl but fits nicely on my SD13 (SDgr) boy.

Tried my SD13 pants from Sadol-
The waist fits fine (a bit tight) but the leg part are a bit too short.
SD17 waist is a bit large and leg part is a bit longer, but with high heel, the overall will look nice.

Clementine can wear the pants I made for my Chiwoo elf (he is on an Delf type 1 old body) so basically she can wear any pants that Delf boys with type 1 body can wear, I mean, if they are short. I still have to try on her the longer pants...



(I made this pants with St. James's patterns posted some years back here at DOA. They were supposed to be for SD10- They fit my SD10 olskin girl bodies too)

 

Does anybody know if Luts Senior Delf girl clothes and shoes fit for SG? >,<

 

A bit earlier in this thread, someone mentioned that the clothes fit everywhere except the bust - they're too small there.
Senior Delf shoes should fit, they have the same foot measurements.
