Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I have 75 dolls currently and they're all male. To be fair, 2 have "angel bodies" (OT 28cm Obitsu male & RS Pixiu) and one is a female doll I had modded to male (Soom Vesuvia) but they are all male characters. I don't see myself adding any females to my collection as they hold zero interest for me and I've been collecting for 14 years. The only one I might bend that stance on is for an Elf Doll Catsy (I'd style has as Bast) but even then I'd have to think about it hard as female dolls are just not my thing at all.

    2. As long as the sculpt is neither too realistic nor too anime like, I don’t really care.
      I am drawn to edgy, balancing between pretty or elvish features - gender or its lack is a secondary factor to me.

      Bodies - not to pronounced in terms of gender features, boyish, skinny and weird are way to go for me!

      My first dolls are boys more on a cute side and now I am looking for the accompanying girl to join them.

      It’s much more about general aesthetic vibes I get from a doll and OC/idea I have for them. Saying all of the above, it is easier to find male rather than female dolls I find aesthetically pleasing.

    3. I personally enjoy females more. I always have thought of the female form to be more beautiful and elegant. The human body in general is interesting and a marvelous spectacle. The things it's capable of and how it works. That being said, I much prefer the female form over the male form personally.

    4. Surprisingly for me, I prefer female sculpts over males. I think I may just be more discerning with male sculpts, however - I prefer more realistic proportions and faces; I find my tastes have changed as I've gotten older. But with female sculpts I enjoy the whole gamut of shapes and sizes. While I still prefer realistic proportions on that end too, I find female YoSD or fantasy bjds so cute!
