1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I have mostly girls, but I love the few boys I have too.

    2. Definitely lean towards boys - though not the super masculine sculpts, something softer but not quite androgynous - at least for me. I imagine to others outside the hobby, they’d find them to still be androgynous haha

Will say that some of the clothing for volks one off girls is so stunning that it’s probably a good thing they’re nigh impossible to get, because I could definitely see myself wanting to collect those haha

    3. Definitely more into big boys that are 70+ cm

    4. I like both. I love to see handsome boys but the girls are extremely beautiful that I have to have more girls. Lol

    5. I would lean more towards female bjd than a male. But I actually own few male bjd. My reason might be that I find it very difficult to style a male bjd. So if I bought a male bjd I keep him in his original look and clothing fullset that he came with :sweat.

But in reality I love both male and female bjd equally. It's just that I can't style him very fashionably. :doh
Actually, I have a crush on most iplehouse EID male models, specially those with beards :D

    6. I've noticed I definitely prefer soft-vibed androgynous sculpts with a lean towards pairing them to 60-65cm male bodies,
especially since it's been a struggle to find the perfect "feminine" face since there's so many good options to choose from :')

    7. I own all boys. I want a girl so bad. But for some reason I just can't connect to a female dollie like a I can a male. I dont know why. I like all sorts of male dolls. Masculine, feminine, androgynous. I have a few boys that wear girl clothes. But I still can't find a female doll that I can connect with. I have owned atleast 4 or 5 female dolls and none have ever stayed very long. I have no idea why. Especially because I would really like a female. It's confusing for sure.

    8. i love girl dolls because of how much i can express myself through them! i feel like its super cute to have a little model that you can have wearing all of your dream clothing.. i've always loved fashion and sewing but I don't have the guts to wear most of it on myself. i couldn't really see myself getting a male doll, but if I did I would probably go for one that's a bit on the feminine side

    9. I don't actively seek out one gender over another, but I do have far more boys than girls. Maybe I'm just pickier with the girls? When it comes to boys, I think my cuteness-vs-masculinity meter is tuned to the doll's apparent ages. The younger they look/are supposed to be, the cuter they should look.
For adult males, I'd say I'm pretty balanced. I like some muscles, but not too many. Swimmer or martial artist muscles are great, bodybuilder muscles are too much. As for the faces, mostly I go for pretty, balanced faces. LoongSoul dolls are a good example of what I mean. Strong jawlines and perhaps noses, but more delicate features otherwise.
Basically I'm a sucker for any Asian presenting doll, male female or other, who looks like they could be a character in a xianxia drama.

    10. Male dolls. I guess I lean towards androgynous but that depends on what features they have that captivated me. I do like pretty boys though. I think girl dolls are so beautiful too but at the moment (can’t guarantee yet because the temptation may take over at any time)I’m sticking to male dolls.

    11. I'm still new to the hobby but what really drew me in at first was seeing people's big 75cm big boys! I've always liked the idea of ball jointed dolls but the smaller ones never quite clicked with me due to the big headedness and the usually more childlike body that comes with it. I'm a huuuuge fan of the Idealian 75 and the Luts GSDF type of bodies where they're beefier, more mature looking and musclier and that just hit me right on the head with everything I ever wanted from a doll.

I don't really feel any sort of want for female dolls, which is strange because usually when I play games I always pick the females due to them having a larger variety of clothing and accessories which also look better. But for some reason, I feel like my lineup is going to be boys only.^^

    12. I have mostly girls because I think girls are cuter! Not gonna lie, some boy dolls can be very cute and handsome and I do like a lot of male dolls that some collectors have. But my preference is girls because I am a girly girl myself and I always express myself through my dolls by dressing them up and giving them long beautiful wigs.

    13. My collection is all female at the moment, but honestly it’s only because I find male dolls way harder to style and buy clothing for, especially in slim-MSD size. It’s so easy and fun to shop for girls in that size, but when I had a boy doll, he had one outfit, and that was it, and even that was a struggle to find.

    14. I don't have a preference, so I have one girl and two boys. The boys are animal bjds so idk if that counts

    15. I have both girl and boy dolls but I think prefer girls. I think it’s because I wish I could were more fashionable clothes but don’t (I’m self conscious, not confident and def don’t have the bod :sweat) so I guess I live through them lol

    16. I don't have a preference, but I think I do have more boys than girls...

    17. When I started, I was convinced I'd have mostly female dolls because it felt that there were a lot I could do with guys in terms of style.

Over ten years later, over half my dolls are boys (or male presenting) and I definitely enjoy playing with my boys more than with the girls

    18. Girls! Though I definitely admire the boy's sculpting, as it's often more detailed, but I just really really like girls. XD I do enjoy sewing for them more.

    19. I like guys though I like them small and cute so

Though I say this and Faith's my profile pic. That's not changing this century either.

    20. I prefer girls, I'm into feminine styling.
