1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Frankly, you the first one that I know to subscribe my blog

P/S ur tumblr is awesome !! but i dont have tumblr account. Wish could subscribe through email !

    3. Ahh, it's sad when you feel like you're blogging for no readers, right? :P

My main tumblr is empty because I deleted everything out of it, as it had tons of reblogged stuff that had nothing to do with my actual blog, which is mainly about crafting, and I wanted to keep it for my blog posts only. My official blog is
here, and I am planning to include doll stuff soon as I've just started into this hobby :) I hope you'll become another anonymous reader, haha! xD

Edit: Oops, I realised you meant my Chamillia's Closet tumblr page.. Ack, silly me :') Maybe one day when you'll get around making a tumblr, you can follow for your dollies :>

    4. It's not like no reader, just no much comments. Can't blame them because facebook existed, blogging become second way to look on.

Tumblr just not me , I have no time to manage everything xD So I stick to ol blogspot.

    5. Our local meets are normally a get together in a restaurant, coffee shop or park, and we just talk, look at each others' dolls and sometimes sell and trade stuff.

Though sometimes, somebody will host a meet at their house and we have workshops. We've done faceups, clothing patterns, shoe making, furniture making...that can be a lot of fun and very informative if you have crafty people in your area.

    6. Sometimes you can have picnics, mini workshops, trades and selling or sometimes you can plan ahead and work on a swap for members. Meets up are really fun when there are activities planned or when you can just talk about your dolls and take photos.

    7. Dollhausen..............I want to go to your meet ups! Too funny!!!

    8. Not sure, I'd love to go to one in the future. : 3

    9. I'm still new in this hobby (a year since I started) but I've been joined doll meet twice in Southern Germany. Our group was small but we enjoyed it so much. In the meet, people can meet other same hobby people and chat about dolls together from morning to evening. Some topic are very informative; events news, new dolls, company service, etc and some are interesting because most of them are from doll owner's experiences. Sometimes we have trade/selling and "doctor service" for newbie or owners who aren't sure about restringing /cleaning by themselves. And the highlight of the meet usually is...taking photograph! Some owners own rare dolls or dolls in wish list. So we can take photos with them and exchanging information about these dolls. It's quite important and helpful for one who wants to order/adopt them in the future.

    10. I haven't really had a lot of experience with the casual meets in my area but I can tell you that the formal convention centered meets are very Country Club/High Brow. Mostly it's a bunch of 35+ ladies who have known each other since the dawn of time hording dolls, gossiping/bad mouthing companies that aren't popular and using convention donation money to buy themselves and their friends gifts. It was sad and disgusting. Hopefully it's not like that elsewhere because I was super turned off.

Doll shows and markets are nice though. I generally have good experiences when money is involved. Socially though not so much. I've tried to set up meets myself in my area but I get ignored for the most part lol. I'm still trying though. I'd like to make some doll-minded friends. It's definitely an uphill battle though. Hardest time making friends I've ever had in my whole life.

    11. I was just passing by this thread and then this! LOL!!
