What is your favourite hybrid and why?

Of the ones I know, I absolutely love my friend Cynthia's DC Bella head on an IMPLdoll Cyril body (DC NS is a near match for yellowed IMPL WS) and my own Akagidoll Tann head on an older Soom SG body (which I'd say is a 90% match at least). Both make for a slightly larger head than the sculpt originally has, which is a look I enjoy.

 

My most favourite hybrid - Soom! It has a sea of opportunities when they declare freechoice. Is called, collect an unknown animal

 

My favorite is my RML K-01 head on the Volks Dollfie Dream II body. It doesn't match perfectly in skin tone and neck size, but it fits so well otherwise I usually overlook the lack of perfect match. I particularly like the proportion; I find it more realistic than the standard BJD. I have considered other bodies such as the DD III, the DDS, and the Shinydoll body, but I'm currently sitting in the "ain't broke, don't fix it" boat at the moment.

 

I love my DZ Freddy head on MK 1/4 boy body as it is quite tall and not kid like. Im all about hybrids Have to love DIM + Doll Chateau mixes, very lovely.

Migidoll boys on SDgrB bodies. Propertyoftheuchiha's Dice(Migidoll Ryu) is one, and I must say it is one of the most perfect matches I have ever seen!!

 

I made some hybrids during my hobby: migidoll+doll family, migidoll+angelsdoll, zaol + dikadoll. It is very interesting - you can choose your own favorite proportions.
My favorite hybrid is soom tiny (fairy parts)+littlefee! Cute heads and parts on very good joined bodys.

 

I've got one other hybrid I love, now that the's done: Volks Williams on an older Soom Supergem body. The body was from around 2007, so the resin matched and I had to cut of a bit of his neck, but now that I did, this doll is perfect! Beautiful Supergem body and beautiful Williams head. Love it.

 

My most wanted hybrid is Unoa Latea and Marion on Volks SDGr girl body, which is my grail doll
I love the teen-young adult body as it match perfectly with my preference and how unoa girls faceplate is so beautiful and can be changeable. Not to mention that some people say that Volks Normal and Unoa Normal match quite well.
Even if I can't have this doll, I really want to see owner who come out with this hybrid. Surely I want to see lot of lovely photos of my grail doll

 

My new favourite hybrid (as of today) is Unoa Lusis/Sist on a Doll Chateau body... I already love Unoas and I really love the head with these proportions!! :'D

I lucked out and got a perfect match for my HZ head with an AOD body. They just work together well and there was no visible resin matching problem. I can pose him like a pro, so I really like him.

 

Volks heads on feeple60 bodies! Making this hybrid soon! From what I have seen it looks awesome though. Resin match is far from perfect but I just love the f60 bodies.

At the moment, it is a Twigling Eloy head on a 5th Motif timeless body. The proportions are great and it gives an extra dimension to the Timeless Body as Eloy has an alien/animal look which is quite endearing and is very different from Venitu's sharp and moody features.

 

I only have one hybrid currently but she is my favorite, she is a DollLove Cecelia on a Dollzone B45-010 body the resin match was perfect. I have never bonded with a doll like that before.

 

I'm currently saving up to shell an OC into a AiL Elijah/Doll Chateau youth boy body hybrid right now. I actually only own hybrids right now. My first doll was a Doll Leaves Noir on a Doll Leaves body, but he traded with another boy in my house I'm also planning on getting 2 F-Doll bodies to hybrid with my Migidoll Jina and MDR Fang heads respectively. Love me some hybrids man!!

 

My only hybrids are within their own company. I have a Volks SDC Hansel head on an MSD body and a Volks SDGr Nono Romantic SwD on a SDG body. I'd love to put them on the bodies they were meant for, but they are still lovely as they are now.

EDIT: I didn't say which was my favorite and why. Chessa (Nono)is my favorite because her body is the suwarrico body. The cute sitting and the ability to have her legs tucked to one side helps her look so relaxed and peaceful. I can feel the tension leaving my shoulders and body just looking at her.

 

Well, I have several hybrids. My favourite though is Loki. He is a Leekeworld Lionel head on a 5StarDoll Super body. With a little work (I added a chest joint), this body works just great.

Naked he looks a tad bobbleheaded (if you are very picky), and the resinmatch is not perfect- But as he has all these layers of clothing and armour, and you don not see his neck and head meet, it does not matter to me.

 

I never thought I'd have hybrids but now most of my dolls are just that! My favorites are -

I'm finding that I prefer dolls with smaller eyes and I like bodies that are on the slim side and have pretty hands. The MSD size DZ body is my favorite because it poses so beautifully and has so much character. I think it's elegant and I like to sew for it because everything I make just seems to look better on that body.

 

My favorite so far is my Kyoya; a Dollzone Freddy-1 head on the Doll Chateau kid body... -w- there's something about the way that he's so lanky that just gets to me~ He's gorgeous in a weird manner!

 

I'm gonna try an IOS 80cm body NS (thick neck) hybrid with a spiritdoll herculean head NS (Ulmus or Thuja, I ordered both). I am aware that the spiritdoll resin can be slightly yellower than the IOS resin (it seems to really come down to resin batches), but it's close enough that I can probably blush it to match. I really want Soom to declare free choice on Idealian heads, because my dream is to put a WS or NS Hyperon head on an IOS 80 body. The size match I know works, and I guess the resin match would be TBD. I'd probably end up buying another IOS 80 body in WS to try and match the Soom cream white skin. Some day!
