Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. My grail doll is a Souldoll Bliarde in green skin. I haven't been able to find him anywhere so far; probably because he is limited but I'm not giving up hope!

    2. If I had a grail doll at all, it would be the one I just ordered--- my Elfdoll Rita. She's not limited, or hard to find, and since I'm making a hybrid with a Mirodoll body she's not expensive either (relatively speaking, of course). But she IS the one doll I want more than any other. She's the one that made me decide to own a BJD. She's the doll I would pick without hesitation if I could only own one BJD ever. I have a group of dolls on my wishlist, but Rita is the only one I feel that strongly about, and I have since I first saw her. Hence why if I were to give anybody the "grail" title it would be her.

    3. I guess the ones I would consider my grail dolls would be Crobidoll Sinbi, Luts Senior Delf Mia, and Luts Kid Delf Maska. They're all very beautiful limiteds that I would love to own but I'm not exactly trying to get them. :sweat Maybe if I had characters for them, I'd try harder. I am sort of bummed about having to miss out on Maska that Luts recently re-released but I know I should stick to plans. xD;;

    4. In terms of cost and the "am I ever going to be able to get him?"-factor, my grail doll is the Iplehouse Arvid.
      But in terms of want and specialness, it's a Doll Leaves Noir, because he'd shell my character Clair Jones. Clair isn't incredibly special to me, but wanting to shell him was the reason I got into dolls.

    5. Mine arrived only a few days ago she is Leekeworld Mikhaila this year's edition in tan skin, I feel over the moon to have her specially as she has a special face up and a fabulous OAK Steam Punk wig I still have to pinch myself to believe that I was so lucky

    6. That's easy, mine would be the Angelheim Ice Queen Zena with all the fantasy parts, coat, dress, shoes. That was an amazing doll! I'll probably never see that again.

    7. I have two grail dolls to be true: IOS Lacrimosa and Soom Dia male. I hope to get them by the end of the year.. I will spend on them an awful lot of money but then I'll have my two perfect characters *O*

    8. For the longest time my grail doll was the Limited Edition Elf Ducan which sold out before I was able to get him. When the Homme Ducan came out I ordered him as soon as I could and contented myself that at least I had a Ducan, who was gorgeous even without the elf ears and black nails. However, I still trawled the MP and late last year an Elf Ducan was put up for sale. I wanted him so bad and even though Christmas wasn't far away, I juggled finances and got him. He is totally gorgeous and I love him to bits. I was thrilled to get him after so long.

      Right now, I don't really have any grail dolls, although I would love to add an IOS Anos to my collection some time in the future.

    9. My grail doll for now is Sakamoto Ryoma from Volks. If I had $2000 to spare, I wouldn't hesitate to buy him in a second from DOA MP. He is the doll I wouldn't even change or customize - I like him as he is.
      But unfortunately I won't buy him very soon - or even buy at all. *(

    10. When I first started on here in April I really wanted an Iple Luo. Several months later I still love that doll but my idea of grail doll has now shifted to a more reasonable doll, RS Dai. $200 just seems to be my cap for doll purchases. I just cannot rationalize buying something like an Iple. It's just too much of an investment for me.

    11. My grail doll since I started the hobby was a Dream of Doll DoT E-an, and for my 21st birthday in 2011 my parents gave me the money to buy her. It was especially lovely because my father isn't at all into my hobby (my mother thinks they're beautiful and loves that I sew for them - she taught me to sew - but thinks they're a very expensive hobby) and the card just had a cheque in it and other than the standard 21st wishes parents do, the last line said "For someone special", so I knew they wanted me to buy her. I just love having her home.

      I am totally biased because I own an RS Dai, but it is an amazing sculpt! My friend owned mine before me, and the difference between her version and mine is so massive - and even between my original character for the sculpt and the latest one, it's like two completely different dolls! Totally, totally look at owner pics, the RS ones just don't do this gorgeous girl justice!

    12. My grail doll is a LI. I don't have him and probably won't ever.... I still consider him my grail doll. Dollshe bermann that is. I haven't really had a connection with any other sculpt since him.

    13. My grail doll is a Batchix Machina. Really I fell in love with them from the beginning because they're beautiful. I don't know if I'll ever get the first machina now seeing as they're out of production

    15. I never really had a "grail" doll, limited or otherwise...until Dollzone came out with their two planthros, Anson and Moment. The instant I saw Anson in the company news section here on DoA my jaw just literally gaped! I think I might have actually swooned over my keyboard, and I suddenly truly understood the term "grail doll". I just knew I couldn't be without her...period! I moved heaven and earth to find the funds for her and purchased her through DDE the same day they put her order page up. I was so glad I did because a mere 3 months later (soon after the Christmas holidays) Dollzone surprisingly canceled the sculpt entirely because of production problems (they were extremely detailed and difficult to cast.) Those who hesitated and were waiting for their funds to recuperate after the holidays (and there were many waiting until summer to order) simply lost out. So my grail doll wound up being very limited in the end. She is my absolute favorite to this day!:)

    16. I never use to have any grail dolls until a few months ago. I now have 3 Grails (one is being shipped to me on Tuesday!!). They are not LE or anything (hopefully the one isnt, he hasnt been released yet). I have finance issues being a student and all :P Darn School. Anyway, my grail dolls are....Dollzone Floy (coming home soon!) and the IMPLdoll Mzzen and Marcus <3 I seriously love the DOA marketplace for making getting Grail dolls so much easier (and less destructive on the bank accounts).

    17. No, it does not depend on the price or LE, it depends on my attitude.
      For me, Grail dolls are not cheap (although in principle Iplehouse dolls are not cheap, I think), but they are basic molds.

    18. I have two grail dolls right now. Fairyland Littlefee Luna for finally getting rid of my school debt, and an Iplehouse EID Luo for when I lose 100 pounds, 34 of which are gone now. :) I just thought I would give the reasons for why I want them and when I will get them. Right now, I am just trying to get the funds to get Luna as I got rid of the debt in March. :)

    19. Mine is Minifee Siean ^_^ Her lips and nose are just perfect to me, plus being a Minifee her posing is amazing. I have her head, and I'm getting a body for her soon.

    20. Mine is SOOM Amber and Iplehouse EID Asa. The only reason why I don't buy them is that I don't have any suitable characters for them in my "doll-story". Their size is a problem too, they wouldn't just fit in right.. That's a shame.
