What is your grail doll?

grail doll? i own her. Beryl. if i could get her in white and green i would be in absolute heaven. yep, green. she would be the ultimate witch

 

Leekeworld Juwel Ent with all opal parts would probably be my grail doll. I haven't been able to find any owner pictures of her

 

My grail doll is a My Choice #7 from when Fairyland was sold through Luts. Unfortunately they have been discontinued and there is only a small number out there so the likelihood of me ever getting her is slim to none.

 

i own one of mine! unoa l-bi, when i entered the hobby i instantly fell in love with them! i knew i wanted one, but aside from the sist and lusis the l-bi was who caught my eye. ;w; honestly, i never thought i'd get him, a full l-bi is way out of my price range. but! i got a unoa b-el in a trade, and then a year later i decided to watch the marketplace for a faceplate.
and i so i took the plunge and finally got him! i'm so happy. ;w;

i doubt i'll ever get my other grail! i'd love to own a dollshe saint, but with them discontinuing the line i'm sure i'll never be able to afford one. ,_,

 

My grail doll is Satyne by Enaibi. She very beautiful, but very expensive... (2000 dollars T-T). I love too all creations of Enaibi *^*

 

A grail doll huh.I don't really know if I have a real 'grail doll' ...As the two that I consider as such are a set of twins. Two DIM Larinas on Kid Dollchateau bodies. A girl and a boy.

I guess this makes the Larina sculpt in general my grail sculpt?

 

Soom Cyborg Sabix (With 'Want dolls' Bix, Quartz, Topaz, Puss in Boots, Iplehouse LE Cowboy Dexter, DOT E-an, Volks DD Alna Minifee Shushu trailing him) He's my high level grail although the height is way beyond what I can handle. I never thought I would get anything above msd.

But after getting Basic Iplehouse NS Dexter, Sabix fell off the pedestal and is milling with the 'Wants'. Its kinda ironic that the Mega Gem version and Puss in Boots were offered a few weeks to a few months respectively after I ordered Dexter.

I am happy with my Dexter as he closed off the current need to get any male bjd thats in his immediate height range. All I want now is to get his partner - Iplehouse Luna or DD Alna and close off/release the rest of female 'Want' dolls

My two biggest grail dolls were Dive Seimei and Volks Cecile the Scarface, and I'm very lucky to own both My new grail doll(hey, you always need a seemly unobtainable goal, right?)is a Dust of Dolls Doom Lil I saw her last year at Ldoll and was even lucky enough to hold her and play with her as the new owner passed my booth Her shape is just so beautiful and perfect! Maybe I'll own her one day, maybe not..grail dolls have a way of finding themselves in your collection one day, I think xD

 

I have a few grail dolls and they change all the time. At the moment my two grail dolls would be a kaye wiggs tobi and a dollmore trinity elysia. One I can't have unless I find her second hand and the other I can't afford right now. But one day maybe..

 

Most grail dolls are expensive/LE ones because they are harder to get/come buy. If they were easier to acquire, then they wouldn't be so high on people's want list. But just because you have a grail doll, doesn't mean it has to be expensive/LE. It could just be a more common mold that you just love to death. But that's my two sense anyways.

No to get to the $64 question: As for me and grail dolls, yes, I have one for both sexes actually. My male is a Soom Sard in NS, and my female is a Soom Vesuvia. I have acquired both. My Sard is one of the original 1 of 8 NS that Soom had released some years ago before they started doing the FC events. I got him second hand and he arrived to me on my birthday, so he holds a special place in my heart. My Vesuvia is a bronze one from one of the FC events. I actually love her mold in the bronze better than the original pearl violet (and yes, I have seen an original Vesuvia in person, many years ago when I just got into the hobby and before I got my first doll). And the even more awesome part about my grail dolls, they ended up a couple. I love Devlin and Ildicia (Sard and Vesuvia). They're relationship is so interesting, and I wouldn't change a thing about either of them!

 

I have 6 out of 7 early Kaye Wigs dolls, and they are all my holy grails, with SK Human Nettle being THE #1. Hoping to find missing Maya one day.

 

My Grail Doll is definitely a U-noss - either one would do it for me, especially if the molded eyebrows and eyelashes were intact. A lady brought one in at Kerbey Lane Doll Shoppe once, and it was a downright magical experience. I had never seen such a quirky and gorgeous doll before, and i haven't stopped thinking about her since.

A shame she's so rare and expensive.

 

I now renounce my old grail doll and switch my dolly grail allegiance to the Lillycat Cerisedoll Lyse Cream. Aarghhh.....I'm in love......and of course this sublime feeling is that singular mixture of pain and pleasure that comes with that love being unobtainable.....or as we say in the bjd world.....sold out!.....now I'm off to find my handkerchief *sob* and write sonnets......

 

I just got him: Glorydoll Louis.

None of the other dolls on my wish list are difficult to get. This one I consider a grail doll because, frustratingly, the company went out of business, and it was hard to find one for sale.

 

Soom Amber. But I will never buy it. Let it be a dream.

 

I'd say mine is a Feeple 60 Chloe. She is quite common but I just adore her!!

 

Don't have a grail doll. The first one I wanted and received was my grail doll. I went for the kill. No beating around the bush with good enough dolls.

 

Wow, Raccoondevil, glad to see that monogamy is still alive. Not me though, the doll in my hand is never as attractive as a doll on the internet!

 

I think, since I acquired my first grail doll (Dollshe Husky) a few years back, I have two dolls that I would love to own but doubt I ever will: Volks Seirei Sakaki and Luts Smokey Quartz Tan Siwoo (Shiwoo).
I've always loved Sakaki's sweet face, and I'd love to own him.
And Smokey Quartz Shiwoo is a given. A legit tan MnF Shiwoo that was released in the small number of five... Maybe I'll be lucky to get him via the MP some day, but probably not. XP
