What is your grail doll?

My grail doll is definitely a tie between two Pipos dolls: Bao (original) and Ringo (siamese). I search every day thinking "today's the day one finally shows up for sale!" It may take many years, but I have faith that it will happen someday!

 

I have obtained my Holiest of Holy Grails. Which is my Soom Heliot, Lyric. No doll will ever top him.

But after saying that, I do have 3 more dolls that I want, but can't afford. They are a CP Delf WooSoo Vampire, Elf ShiWoo.
And a Dollshe Berman

 

Mine was a Volks SD17 Williams. I didn't think I'd ever be able to get him, but I inherited some money and was able to find him on the marketplace.
I guess a sort of secondary grail is Hijikata Toshizo.

 

Right now, I think my grail doll is a Soom Kanoa. It's the first sculpt that really got me to decide that I really,really wanted a BJD, and got me to look at other dolls and choose a first doll that wasn't quite as expensive. It's not a limited edition or anything, and reading through others I'm wondering if he even counts! But nonetheless, I love the sculpt because it's unique, and the only SD size doll I want.

 

I find that my "grail doll" keeps changing as I see more dolls. For a month or two, I'll be obsessed with one, and then I see something else and lose interest in the first one. Currently, it's IOS's Infernale. He's so gory an perfect. I think this one will stay with me.

 

I've gotten three of my grails. I got a Volks Olivia v1 Head early December. Then a few weeks later found an almost fullset v2 !
I then got SD16 Ruby for Xmas( I never thought I'd ever get her so never put a wtb up) but one came up on the Mp and she was mine.

And after 18months of constant searching, I got my fullset Garnet last month!

I'm still waiting for Dollshe Bermann.
And know Madoka will be home eventually. And Iple Jessica! I've been waiting for her since the day she came out. But all my other dolls jumped the queue

 

I would say that my Grail doll has got to be the fairyland feeple 65 Chloe full set. It was the first doll that got my attention, but i was new the hobby so I was worried that her size would be to much for me. I ended up getting a minifee and missed out on the full set. I love my two minifee girls but have never stopped thinking about the 65 Chloe, in two weeks I am finally gonna order the basic version. I just hope one day in the future I can track down her moonlight clothing set second hand, then I will really have my grail doll.

 

I thought I was done with my desire for new dolls. Boy was I wrong...it's Dollshe's latest masterpiece - David Kunicci. He is not limited, but right now there is no way that he can come to me. I really hope that he will be in Dollshe's Portfolio for a bit longer. Anyways, he won't have any clothes here - this body is just too perfect to cover.

 

Almost all Dollfie Dreams are LE, so my grail - Niimi Haruka is too expensive and hard to find for me now. I think she is my grail not because of her price but because she is sold only in Japan or Usa and not all sellers are deliver to Russia, it is a big problem

 

My grail doll would be a Dollshe Rosen in tan skin. Or a Somm Idealian Gluino. (Even if I had just his bald, wigless head on a stick in my house somewhere, I'd be happy.)

 

My grail doll is definitely LUTS SDF Mia. Dark ver. She is the reason I fell in love with BJDs. I hope LUTS re-releases her soon. There's a petition on deviantart and hopefully after 30 comments they will consider making her again! I'd sell my kidney for her. Or maybe my mom's Pomeranian first.

 

Right now, definitely Feeple65 Chloe. I love everything about her! I also love Supia Lina (tan skin) I guess I really like elf ears >.<

 

For quite some time already my grail doll is a Nabarro's boy ... I hope to find him one day on the secondary market ...

 

Errr... Can someone define "Grail doll" for me? I would think that it would have to be a doll that you are aching to own but which is really difficult to acquire. That would almost automatically make it a limited edition, a discontinued doll not readily available on the second-hand market, or one that is really too expensive for you, no?

I don't have a Grail doll. There are some that appeal to me but that I think too expensive, but none for which I am really pining. Is that strange?

 

I was actually just lucky enough to acquire my male grail doll! Fairyland MNF Seorin, a-line muscle body.
A friend was selling, and I was already in love with her boy, so I jumped at the chance.
She was super-sweet, and has given me his sleeping head, two extra pairs of hands, and a bunch of clothes as well

My grail-girl is an Iplehouse JID, either Tania or Tatiana.
I blame my best friend for that, as she's the reason I got into the hobby, and her first doll was an IH Tania =)

 

My grail doll has always been a Luts Delf Soony, and I finally got her! She's going to be here tomorrow, I am so excited! Now that I've gotten her though, I'm not sure what my new grail doll will be. There's several dolls I want, but nothing that is really of 'grail' status. I'm sure I'll find one soon enough though, heheheh.

 

My Grail Doll Is a Fairyland MNF Miyu. And i'm glad to say she was my first BJD,and i adore her to bits!

 

At this point, my grail doll would be an IOS Lacrimosa. He's quite expensive, costing somewhere in the $700 area, but compared to prices I've seen for other basic dolls, that's not too bad. Annnddd my boyfriend said he'd buy him for me! So yay. I'd also love to have an Iplehouse Freezia, but that's an even bigger longshot away.

And zaoll luv (she's on her way to me though! I know she's not limited but I've loved her for years and she hasn't been discontinued!!)

 

My grail doll is a Pipos Vanilla Baha. I have no idea how rare they are, but I'm imagining that they're quite expensive! It's a scary thought. I'll get one someday, though! c:
