    1. Honestly? I haven't got a clue. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of dolls I love and there are tons I would love to own. But my grail doll? I honestly don't know.

      I can however tell you my grail size. See, ever since I first got involved with this hobby eight years ago, I have wanted a larger sized doll (about 60 cm, 70 still seems a bit scary :P) however the thought of one also scares me. At the moment I have four dolls in the 40 cm range with another one coming and I adore those. Still, I'd love a bigger girl to dress up and play with. I just can't seem to find a sculpt and whenever I do find one I spend a lot of time looking at... The size scares me. I want it, but it scares me. With 40 cm I can put them away somewhat easy if I have company that I don't want to show them to, but with 60... They might as well be giants to my mind.

      Still, I kind of have a goal to find a 60 gal (I bond better with girls overall, I'm not ignoring the gorgeous male sculpts out there, promise!) and get her home. A goal I've had for ages. So we'll see I guess :) Might take me another eight years to get there!

    2. I have 2 as well; one is my Abio Angel Si whom I own, and the other is the first doll I fell in love with which is a DoT Sha; he's not overly expensive or limited but he'll always have a special place in my heart <3

    3. I actually have two grail dolls--both Iplehouse. One I have on the way... through an interesting series of events from earlier this month. The other I will have to layaway. The reason I say two is that they happen to be some of my first RP characters and two of my favorites (it's a hero of mine and her... 'twin' brother/male doppelganger--long story). I had to order the girl as a Doll Choice because I loved Aria's face with B-Type make up, but she was SID and I wanted her YID. Anyway, I got her while they were having the sale and saved a little. My second grail from Iplehouse will be just as expensive, but he's the basic YID Andrew. That smirk and him being a red pegged him as my boy. :D

      On the top of grail dolls and expense, I think a lot of it has to do with why you want it and why it's your grail. Kudos that your grail was under $200! I think any time you can find a good doll for a reasonable price it's awesome. For me, my dolls were more pricey because they're Iplehouse, and it's a more expensive brand. (Well worth the money, their product is great!) But if you find a doll that you love and (if your grail is because it's a character) is your grail for a lower price, then to me it's win win. :)

    4. The Ducan was mine as well, I got him as my second doll. I don't have a grail doll now though since I never though I'd be able to get the Ducan I didn't keep looking at dolls that I couldn't afford. Now I guess just a girl doll in MSD and SD size is what I want, but no particular one is my grail.

    5. I can't really say for sure if I have a grail doll. I have a lot of dolls that I want right now and am planning to get, but it seems like the amount of WANT I feel is directly proportionate to their availability.

      For example, top of my want list right now is a tan SUPIA Zion. Supia's currently not selling him and I haven't seen anyone get him in tan, so buying him second hand isn't a likely option either. I think that plays a large role in him being top of my list. So by the loosest sense of the word, he might be my grail doll.

    6. Hmm. I don't really have a grail doll but I do want a little YoSD boy to be friends with my LittleFee Dark Soo Elf. I really admire the Bluefairy YoSD boys, but I haven't decided which is my favorite. I also love the PukiPuki PongPongs and some of the Doll Chateau skinnies but of both of those I am not sure I would ever want either. YoSD seems the perfect size for me.

    8. I think my grail doll is an Unoa or Narae doll. Because it's possible to change their faceplates, so they have a lot of expressions. To my mind, this fact give them more "humanity". And they're really reeeeally pretty as well ! <3

    10. Mine i will have in 2014! Im saving to buy him. He is the one who bring me to the hobby. When i was looking for some cosplay images from a manga/anime called Junjou Romantica, i found a photo of this fabulous doll wearing a cosplay from my favorite character Usami Akihiko. On the same time i ask my friend (who collect Blythes) if she knows witch doll was him. Well she put me o BJD Brasil group on facebook, and they told me my doll was a Iplehouse Chase!!! So was love a first sight! And i will have him soon.:fangirl:

    12. My grail doll was Dikadoll Summer. He was the very first BJD I ever wanted and after wanting him for a year, I finally got him! I love him so much!! My biggest doll at 73cm, I think he will always be my favorite doll now :)

    16. My Grail doll was, and still is, my Volks YoTenshi Hinata. Hands down she is my favorite resin doll and always will be. I have had her since February of 2009, and can't imagine ever finding a more perfect little one.

    17. I really want one of the AOD 1/2 scale dolls I recently saw on Ebay. They only seem to have male sculpts at present though. If they had a female I would be saving up already.

    18. I have two grail dolls that I know of. Both are still available (although I think one is being discontinued), they being a MNF Miyu and a Volks Nana. They remind me of each other, but still different. Even though they're both grail dolls, I don't know what I'd do if I ever did own one of them.

    19. I have an AoD Bo. You could mod one into a girl, if you were so inclined. But I think AoD has said they wont do girls that size. Though if they change their mind that would be awesome. Dollmore has the 80 and the 105cm girls, which are lovely, but costly. I love my Bo though. He was a grail of mine. I need to take him out more....xD


      I had something happen to me. i found a grail doll I had forgotten about. The Dollzone X. Found him for sale and spazzed. Has anyone else forgotten about a grail doll, then found it by chance and freaked out? XD
