What is your grail doll?

It's Iplehouse Bichun. For me he is the one ! But too expensive too... unfortunately .

 

I have a few, luckily I already own most of them. Luts CoBK Abadon (DoA anniversary limited) I have everything but four parts (wig, eyes, sword hand, dreaming head) but that doesn't really matter, I adore him as is. Soom Golden Light Children Adamelli and Shale (have an Adamelli and parts of two Shales). I also consider Souldoll Paratiisi one of my grails, but I'm not sure I will ever own one due to financial issues.

Minifee Nanuri '14 head on a Moe line body. Oh if only I could find one for sale, I'd pay any price >.< Hopefully soon enough I'll have marketplace access so the hunt can begin!

Of course there are other dolls I'm smitten with as well. Lesser Grails would be a Doll Chateau Alberta, a Dollzone Carter, and a DIMdoll Larina.

 

Any of the Iplehouse 60+ cm men and Feeple60 Mirwen. I want them all, but SDs seem to be constantly out of my reach in terms of patience. Not to mention I don't have the space for them and every time I get close to being able to afford one, they discontinue them.

I'm also lusting after some Soom MSD limiteds for the fantasy parts, but we all know how popular those are!

 

I would love to have a Soom Gneiss Birth of a Goddess. She is so beautiful. Also a Fairlyland Feeple Chloe would be nice. I forgot to mention a Dollmore Trinity Elysia.

 

I've just discovered Fairyland MNF Siean, and then tortured myself by checking the marketplace... Aaargh! There is one! Sadly, with my current doll budget of $100/month and my savings wiped out a few weeks ago by my car, she will remain a dream...

 

My grail doll was a. Tan LTF Ante, which I acquired in February ^^. But I think my new grail would be a Faun hybrid; I just need to do more research *^*

 

I really would love to get a Soom Cass with her mermaid parts. Unfortunately, I'm a newbie to BJDs and missed out on the last free choice event that Soom held last year with her as an option. Hopefully I'll be able to get her someday!

 

The first time I realized I liked BJDs was when I saw an issue of Haute Doll with Peak's Woods Sky and Skiya on the cover. It was a Halloween issue with a bit of a Sweeney Todd theme. The dolls had special face ups and I think about 40 of them were sold on Haute Doll's web site. Val Zeitler also designed some limited clothes for Dollheart for the collection, which I also love. At the time I thought the prices were insane, because I didn't have any BJDs, but they don't seem so bad now! There are a lot of dolls I like, but I would love to find one of these since they were the first BJDs I saw that I really loved. (As an aside, I'm confused about why I joined the forum in February 2008, since that magazine didn't come out until August 2008 . . . Oh well, maybe I'd have had one already if I'd actually been reading the forum! )

 

The Dollstown girls, especially the 18 year old body and the elf body.

 

My only grail doll (which I don't have and has been sold out on the store site for a while) is a circus kane iracebeth. She is so unique! Her body shape with those chubby little legs and adorable heart swivel joints. A doll I would leave naked just with body blushing, faceup & eyes. Been trying to get her for a while, but no luck still. It was really hard when an owner on fb said she was 'selling her' and then decided to keep her and reject my hopes and dreams in the end. I was so close. If anyone knows someone who is looking to find a new home for theirs, I would really appreciate it if you let me know. I do not have marketplace access yet.

 

It changes over time. My first grail doll was IH Luna Tamer, then Kaye Wiggs Koneko, then a Popovy Sisters doll of any kind. I have at least one or two of those dolls. My forever grail doll is a resin Enchanted Doll. But I thnk that dream will never be fulfilled for any amount of money sadly since Marina Bychkova is concentrating on other projects and not the resin dolls anymore. But I keep hoping. (Resins can go for over $4500 USD on the secondary market.)

 

I own one of my grail dolls, a Mecha Angel Elf Sabik. I didn't have the funds before they stopped making the Mecha Angels and I got super disappointed, but I found him secondhand and I'm grateful to the person who sold him to me.Even though he's super old, I love him to pieces. I have other grail dolls, but onlybecause I know they will be hard to receive. The challenge makes it more satisfactory to finally have them home.

 

My grail doll is something that out of reach, so if I can even acquire one of Volks SDGr girls or Unoa Zero girls, I'm probably dying out of happiness or having a rainbow on my head for entire months
I do have some least expensive in my wishlist but not something that I can called grail doll since something feels lacking, because I feel that grail doll is like gold among golds

She's so damn cute, but I recently bought my first doll, so I want to wait a little bit beofre making once again such a big expense

 

My grail doll is Volks Luna (limited). It's insanely pricey and I don't think I'd ever get there.

 

At the moment it's an IpleHouse Leonard....Unfortunately his limited time period is over.
But I can keep wishing, maybe I can get him second-hand or if they ever would release as a doll choice!

 

Mine is Iplehouse bibiane. Yes, she is expensive, but she is incredible!

I have two grails, since one of them is pretty much impossible to get for me....
The first one is Volks F45 (good luck with getting that one....), then a Volks Victorique, who is also pretty rare and VERY expensive.. I need to find a grail that's actually attainable!
