What is your grail doll?

Was lucky enough to get one of my grails - a CD Om. My other two are a MA Sabik and 'original' tan DZ Yuu (much bigger fan of old DZ tan than the new one).

 

Mine would have to be my first doll (Loongsoul Wolf-Farkas). I hadn't expected to own a BJD until I saw him. Then I fell in love with him and he began my obsession :P I love him oh so much!

 

I'm still relatively new to the hobby, and I ordered two of my favorite dolls, but I think my grail doll would have to be the Juri 08 Minifee from Fairyland.

Every time I see CrazyKimochi's Bambi I grow green with envy.

And of course she's an expensive LE...
At least I fell for Chloe and Celine, too. They're so much easier to get.

 

I suppose I have a lot of dolls I would love to own, and I do covet many of the dolls which people often have as grail dolls like Volks Suigintou or William, but none of them get me like Yugiri. I have loved Volks Yugiri ever since the first time I saw the sculpt, and was immediately thinking of how strange it looked…for me, this statement always gets me into trouble. As soon as my mind thinks something looks strange, it automatically latches onto that object, and will continually run with it until I am forced to be obsessed with it, hence Yugiri. WS Yugiri at that, so you can imagine how basically impossible it is to find this sculpt until Volks releases one by some miracle before I die...

While on the subject of impossible things that could never happen, WS Yugiri as an MSD would literally make me take a trip to Japan on short notice to grab one. There are no other doll concepts that could do that, so I guess that is a grail beyond since it doesn't even exist.

 

I think my grail doll is Volks YoTenshi Hinata. She was actually in the MP awhile ago... brand new... made this year... full set. But did I want to drop 1.4K on a doll? Nope. I think I could live without her. There are just so many other beautiful dolls out there. I'm also not huge on smiley dolls so it's possible I may not like her as much once I get her anyways.... Most of my dolls look sort of wistful lol. But dang, she is really cute.

 

Resinsoul Mei. The first MSD I ever really wanted, I kept letting slip.

 

I believe I have more of a wish list than a "grail doll" but I suppose if I had to choose it would be Asleep Eidolon Col because she was the first doll I ever saw! And even though she is not "expensive" she stole my heart from the day I saw her

 

Right now I have two, Soom Ai with all the fantasy parts and a Luts tinytaur.

 

I think I'm too fickle to have a grail doll. Though the one on my list that I won't get anytime soon would be souldoll Mayu. I planned on buying her, but right when I had saved up enough money, she ended up being discontinued. I bought a souldoll Bonnie in the end, who I love dearly. She's pretty and all, but she wasn't what I had in mind at first.

Other dolls that have peaked my interest, would be Peakswoods Skiya and Goldie. I think both of them are amazing. I would love to own one of them, but they are a bit out of my price range.

 

If I really had to choose one, I think it would be an Enaibi Briséis doll. :'(

 

There are three doll I've wanted for years: Volks SD17 Reisner, Volks Suiseiseki or Souseiseki, and Dollshe Bermann, either OE or SA (preferably both! haha). More recently, I'm really drawn to Volks Creamy Mami, Volks SDGrG SWD Nono, and Volks SD17 Shirou Tachibana.

I'm lucky to already own some of my previous grail dolls, though: Luts Delf Elf El and Elf Shiwoo. I used to own a Souldoll Celestyn, which was one of the first dolls I really loved, but sold him because he was difficult (couldn't sit, couldn't stand, even with hot glue sueding and now, tighter string). I'd love to own one again someday, but he's not super high on my list of grail dolls.

 

Umm I Have too many to list really. Most are Soom MD's >< Like Zinc White Archer, Trachy and Lami, Bazael, Carbon and Luxullia, Obsidius, Pyrol, Minette, Fantasy Claude Addiction, Chris the Addiction, Oscar the Addiction, ...you get the idea. I have a taste for fantasy XD And, yeah, I probably will never own any of these grail dolls since they were limited. But I can dream.

Actually,I do own some of my grails. I have my Idealian Zinc. My very first grail doll. And I have four other monthly Soom Gem dolls.

Still want the ones I missed. XD But so happy for the ones I got.

 

Elfdoll Dami on the twiggy body and I've wanted Littlefee Leah for 3 years now but keep buying other dolls.

 

I would have to say that at the moment, my grail doll is my Planet Doll, Emma with a custom face up and wig by Cristy Stone. Everything about her is just so sweet and unique.

 

I don't have a true grail yet.

 

I would say all of my planned character dolls are like my grail dolls.

 

My grail doll WAS a doll chateau: Mona, but they no longer make her, so that's kind of a bummer. :/

 

I never tought I would have a "grail" because I never collected dolls for having specific sculpts but for having the characters which I created before I ever thought of having him/her as a doll. But I had this one dream head I wanted for some years. It is the Juri 2011 event head, everytime it showed up in the MP it was overpriced and I didn't had the money... last year I finally was able to buy a Juri '11 head (on my birthday :') ) and since this head got a body I am really satisfied with my collection, I had two planned dolls before this head and I bought them after it because the head was more important for me. I still could buy many dolls for many characters but I no longer feel like I need them. I want to finish the dolls I have in progress but I have the feeling my collection is complete since I got this head. I see the head (or the whole doll) as my graildoll since I recognized how much "peace" it brings into my collection.

 

My grail doll is the Nameless version of Yujin that Crobidoll released! I want it so very badly.

 

My grail doll is an Iplehouse Ashanti with ebony skin. The moment I saw her I knew she was perfect for the main character of my graphic novel.
