What is your grail doll?

My grail dolls would be my dollshe boys. But with this hobby theres always new sculpt that comes and go. So not including the current grail doll I have, (Please excuse me) I could only drool over Soom hyperon dhampir and (not in a million year i could own) IOS Levi.

 

I have 2 grail dolls. Volks No.38 and Switch Soseo in brown skin.....

 

I don't know if I truly have a "grail doll" because my tastes are constantly changing! The only doll that has really stuck with my as being a favourite is the Kid Delf Bory, as he was one of the first bjds I ever saw. But other than that, I don't know if I really have a grail doll

 

I imagine the first doll, I've just ordered will be my grail doll as he's the first one that I really loved the look of. His name is Gong Ming and he's a dragon doll. I feel a lot of sympathy for gong ming as well. He's beautiful and effeminate enough to pass as either gender but very elegant and there's only a hundred being made. In the last year dragon doll have only sold 1. I still love him but wish more people would show him their affection. I also really want Island Amy, who is adorable.

 

Granado's V-01 is my grail doll, though I don't know that I'll ever be able to obtain him!
He's so gorgeous I just love him.

 

My grail doll would be a Narae N406. I'm really glad that Bimong has started to sell his dolls again. So when I get the funds, I'll be sure to buy one

 

At first I thought it was Soom SG Spinel but no, I've had him since 2009 and no matter what face-up, wig, clothes or angle I photograph him in he just was not it. I refused to give up on him so I finally got up the courage this year to mod him into my dream doll. So far after shaving down his dimpled chin, jaw line and nose it's working. I just need to make his eyes smaller, 14mm to 11mm, and lower the eye lid.

My very first grail doll, Noble Doll Raspberry, I'm not sure to get her one day. She's perfect, beautiful, to have seen one in real I know she's gorgeous and totally fits my taste. BUT, I don't have any character for her. I wouldn't really know what to do with her... Of course I'll be more than pleased to have her, but still, I'd feel guilty having her without having any projects for her. Moreover, she's quite expensive, and I have other characters that I really want in BJD, so I won't save for her before having them...
The doll I currently want the most, to the point of a grail doll since she's soooo expensive and quite rare, is a Cerisedoll Ellana. I first had a crush on her name, learned to love every details of her face, and when I saw one in real, I just knew I had to have her. She's the perfect doll to make one of my character that I love really much, I know pretty precisely how I'll custom her... I'm just waiting for the money now !
After that, they are also a looot of dolls, specially artists doll that I love and that are out of my reach. They're still making me dreaming, and I keep hoping beeing able to purchase them one day !

 

I had 2 grail dolls and they aren't some expensive limited ones. and I've already was able to get them

the first grail is Volks Kun. ever since I started this hobby I came accross a really beautiful SD Kun, I loved her right away, at that time I was still a new in this hobby and I didn't want to rush things out. by time I discovered there's a Yosd Kun as well and I thought she will be my little spoiled princess. I found one & bought her but sadly that doll never made it home (lost in shippnig or something..) after her loss I had some sort of 'Kun loss complex' ><;; I told myself I will never own a Kun again (I was so afraid to lose her once more if I bought one >_>), and about one year avoiding her pics I still dream to get my own Kun T_T and at some point I discovered about Volks FCS and saw once a white skin Kun, right away I said 'yes, a WS Kun is the one for me'. and after some lo~ng time planning and ordering her through FCS, the whole proccess & waiting wasn't easy for me (already lost one) but finally my own Kun has arrived and I can't be anymore happier, she's excatly what I really wanted

my second grail doll is Volks Elena. the truth is I never really liked Elena ever since I saw her pics, at that time I thought her mouth was big and odd looking, and for 2 years I kept this thought about her that she isn't a doll I will ever own. well, after some time I randomly decided 'let's search for Elena pics in flickr!' lol I don't know what got me that day maybe I was just bored but I did saw lots and lots of Elena.. and the more I see her the more I found out how beautiful she is! and funny thing her mouth that I once disliked is actualy what I loved xD and after 1 whole year of being obsessed by Elena I finally bought her and currently on her way back from faceup

 

I actually own my grail doll. He wasn't limited or over the top expensive. He's a Soul Doll Juhl and he was my first doll. It was love at first sight and I bought him brand new in ws. He's my spoiled little diva xD

There are other dolls that I really want but I wouldn't call them my grail dolls.

 

Kinoko Juice Kiki. Ridiculously expensive, never sold outside of Japan, and so. freaking. cute.

 

I have one of my grail dolls-Volks Lorina but I'm still searching for my Luts Soony. These dolls get so expensive and usually have to have new faceups. but I'm still looking.

 

I own three of my grail dolls now - I still have Volks Kurenai and Suzuna, and brought home OceanMoon ShouRyu. I'm working on my fourth - the first doll I really fell for was a Customhouse Siwon girl. I have a Siwon boy at present, but I gotta get that girl body and a new faceup before I'll feel like she's really "mine".

But for some reason I just keep finding new grails! I fell in love with Volks Yu Morisawa and it seems like I'll never be able to find her. I've been searching for a long time for Gomidoll OE Igon but haven't had any luck (but brought home an I-Bi in the process), and if I ever own a Dollfie Dream I would love for it to be Mariko (sensei or student). Oh, and Volks YoTenshi Konomi has to be just about the cutest tenshi I've ever seen in my life - the next time I find one I can afford, I'm bringing her home!

 

I have two grail dolls, a Dollshe OE Hound and a Customhouse St. Mina. They are just so expensive but sooo beautiful! Maybe I'll own them 10 years from now..its so hard to save money

 

Most of the dolls on my wish list seem totally unattainable at the moment, and the fact that there are four dolls that are too expensive/too hard to get hold of/both means that it feels even less likely that I could get them. If there was just one, I could imagine saving up and hunting it down...

Anyway, mine are Elfdoll Yumi with half open eyes and normal skin, Unoa Sist, Narae N40S and Minifee Shushu on a beauty or active line body (I can't decide but I don't want her to be much shorter than my other doll!)

I would be so happy if my doll collection consisted of those!

 

I have two grail dolls. One is a minifee Juri 11. The other is a soom turb with elf parts. Both are out of stock and hard to find. It makes me sad.

 

I have 3 grail dolls; Volks Okita Souji - The first doll which I wanted so badly when I saw but...it was already too late and now his is worth more than 1k $...So I don't think I can get him. Let him be my dream doll forever. Number 2 is IOS Lacrimosa. I was also late because he was sold out before I got into this hobby. But now I'm still searching for him around, at least I want to get his head, if it's possible. Hahaha! My last grail doll is the only doll that I can get. Luts SSDF Avalanche Romance ver. He isn't LE and still available on Luts site. I really like his sculpt. He's my third dream doll and I've already ordered him. Now just wait for him to arrive at home. I guess... At least, one of my dreams is fulfilled.

 

I have a couple grail dolls. Basically all minifees, especially Chloe. I know Chloe isn't limited or anything, but i won't be able to save up enough money to buy her anytime soon. I do have a minifee A-line body that i'll be getting in a trade though! And Soom Ai is a definite grail. And the Luts Centaurs.

 

My grail doll has just come to live with me - Luts Tiny Delf Centaur...I missed the issue of them, but got one on the MP. Just love her!

 

My grail doll is my second doll on order XD The senior delf cherry from the summer event. I understand that many people take much longer to find or order their grail doll but seeing as she's an event doll there wasn't much time to consider whether or not I should actually get her.

I'm already fairly indecisive and I tormented myself for a while over whether or not to spend that much money so soon, having just paid off my first doll. In the end the idea of getting an original, new version of her was too strong, though I only ordered the base of her.

She'll take a lot of time to complete mind you. I'll need face up done and to call her complete I'll somehow need to find her phoenix girl outfit from someone second hand. Given that it's an event doll I consider this to be a daunting task But hopefully someone who snagged her phoenix girl outfit will someday be willing to part with it and help to complete my grail doll :P. Complete or not I'm really excited to have her base arrive!
