Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. I would probably sell my whole collection of things just for two dolls that are off-topic. However, for here, I suppose I would say the Doll Chateau Mephisto is my bjd grail doll. That would be my first and probably only on-topic bjd. I hope I get him one day&#8230;.<sigh>

I used to think it is one of LUTS dolls, but I loved VOLKS dolls even more partly because it retains so much of its value, but I now want to purchase the doll I think have the best scrulpt and most versatile look. Personally, one of my favorites is Dollmore since most of their dolls look bit less anime and possess more of subtle characteristics.

    9. My absolute grail doll as of now is Doll-leaves Emily , she is the most beautiful thing I ever saw ! But for now it seems a little bit out of my reach because I would need at least $500-$600 in order to have her just the way I want ..I hope I will someday have her though .

    10. My grail doll was a Dollzone Stramonium. But i got to order her just in time before Dollzone decided to discontinue her. I don't think I ever wanted a dolly so badly as I wanted her and for now there is no doll I feel the same about (the feeling like: "omgosh my collection is not complete without that one).

In order of most to least desire: Volks Hewitt: one day I will have enough to buy one & not feel guilty I don't even care if it's not a fullset, I don't care if it's just the HEAD I really really REALLY want a Hewitt, it was my grail doll when I first joined back in '06 & my desire has not faded. Unoa: I don't care whether it's Sist,Lusis, L-bi or B-el I don't CAAAAAARE I want one but I can't buy one because again $$ & guilt. Tan MNF Kyle: I missed FL's tan event so hopefully I'll be able to buy this one when it happens because Zach's character is supposed to be "dark skinned" so he needs to be tan. A soom monthly doll: I don't care which one, all the soom monthly dolls are cute & have little animal parts so I'm not picky (crossing fingers for another MSD tho)

    12. A grail doll? Hmmm...if the definition is rare, expensive or limited then I doubt I have a real grail doll.

      I've always wanted a Littlefee though and one is on the way so that dream will soon be fulfilled. She's not a grail doll though but just one I thought looked suitable as a perfect start for my collection.

      My 'grail doll' currently would be a factory doll (not second-hand) that is just the right size for me and has a custom face-up so she's OOAK. I have no idea however what size I like at the moment so finding that one perfect grail doll might take a bit longer for me.

    14. My grail doll is a minifee. Preferably Siean. I've decided to stop buying dolls and just work towards her, probably getting a Mirwen before finding a Siean head. I've considered so many more affordable msd girls, but I know they'd just leave me wanting.

    15. The only limited I want badly enough to consider it my grail doll is probably Little Monica's Gloomy Enrill Vampire. I so hope they re-release him some day! *_*

      Other than that, though, I try not to become attached to limiteds since I'm not in any position where I can put down a lot of cash on such short notice. There are lots of other dolls I want, but since they're all unlimited, I don't worry about them too much or consider them 'grails'.

    16. I didn't really have a grail doll until I saw the Ringdoll "Norman Light 2.0" I don't know much about Ringdoll, but I know that I wish I had a lot of money because that doll is beautiful.

    17. This year seems to be the year for grail dolls for me! I can hardly believe it, but I found a Gomidoll Igon head and brought that baby home! He still needs a faceup and a body, but I was really starting to lose hope that I'd ever own him at all. He'll be complete eventually and for now that's good enough. :) Sometimes I just hold that blank head and sigh happily, lol. My Siwon is off for her faceup now, and if I'm lucky I'll be able to trade for her body this year too. I can hardly believe how much shorter my wishlist has gotten! I'm trying really hard not to think too hard about new dolls that come out, in the meantime. I'm pretty broke after all this!

    18. My current grail is an Unoa girl as a girlfriend for my Dollmore Catish Reaa. To me, those sculpts would be so perfect together...

      My previous grail was an Akagidoll Tann, which I never thought I'd be able to afford until I randomly spotted a very affordable Tann head on the Marketplace. I had a body for him as I'd just sold my Soom SG boy's head, and the match is pretty much perfect too. Still very happy I managed to find him :D

    19. I think my grail doll would be the Soul Doll Empress Kayla. She reminds me of a beautiful snow queen and I love the blue skin color. She was very expensive, and I doubt I will ever get her because she is a limited edition. C'est la vie!

I used to say that I don't have grail dolls because I either save up and get them or I don't, but I think I do have one now: Soom Obsidius, the darker-skinned SO release they did (Angel of Dark). I remember when Obsidius first came out I was like aw, if only he came in darker resins.... Then they did an SO release in brown tan when I was in no position to get new dolls. ;_; He is utter perfection.

      Oh and I guess another one would be Peakswoods Lottie in tan. They did a couple of tan Wake-up Lottie one-offs, but I want the open-eye head on the new Lolita body. :<

      Aaaand one other! Iplehouse nYID Chris on a female body.... or possibly a male body modded to be a female one.
