What is your grail doll?

I have two, both of which I own. One is Luts tiny Delf Dorothy. The other is Doll Family Ella (Ellathena).

 

Have some more attainable options in mind for my first doll, but my dream is a Volks SD13 F-54 girl in sunlight skin.

 

My grail doll is a Lillycat Cerisedolls Ellana in white. I've been dying to get her for months now... Every time I think of buying another doll I think, "but that's $$$ that could be going towards my future Ellana."

One day I'll get her!!

 

I have suspicion, I may have previously posted here. However, to reflect changes with the times, that my current grail doll is SOOM's tan Dia male.

 

I think I may have found my grail. I want a Switch Mocha Brown Hahwa. I don't even know if Hahwa has been released in Mocha Brown. I don't see a listing on the site so maybe he will come out sometime in the future. Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

Switch mocha brown seoha. I shall get him one day. I shall!

 

I think my Grail Doll would be a male Crobidoll. They were the first dolls I ever looked at but sadly they're currently out of my price range ;; (The specific doll i'm looking at is Zion, I think he's about 600~ with the face up included.)
oh but someday I will have him, I am determined! Just not any day soon

but grails are only fullset dolls for me, so I suppose getting them will take me lots of time)

 

I've got two current grail dolls. An ID sense circus Le, who is moderately priced, and I'm just waiting to save up enough to buy him, and a Soom (SO) Puss in Boots who is unfortunately unavailable at the moment

 

My grail dolls are SWITCH Uhui R and Huisa. I love their sculpts so much they are so beautiful!! (//w//) I hope they restock ;; v;; .

 

Hmmm...I have a fair amount of grails, but I think the ones that stand out for me at the moment are Souldoll Zoseph, Souldoll Achille Debussy, Volks Hajime Saito fullset, the Migidoll Hyeon LE head, and Doll Leaves Emily. They are the ones that I feel I have a chance of getting. The ones that I know are out of reach for me are : the Volks Momoko doll released as a special edition for the movie "Shimotsuma Monogatari" (LE 100), and Volks Isao Nanjou, Shiro Tachibana and Jun Tachibana fullsets (they were out of price range the moment they were sold out years ago). I plan on getting alot of my attainable grails within the next year.

 

Unoa Zero Marion and Iplehouse Stella. I love them both so much...

 

I have lots of dolls which I would love to have but I also know that I can't have them because they are so expensive or hard to find. But my biggest "I want it so badly"-doll is SOOM Amber, as a boy. I love Amber's face and the fantasy parts, especially legs, hooves and hands.

 

I've seen many Isao's and Shirou's going for around $800 nowadays. There's a Isao in the marketplace right now going for 675 (non-fullset, except for the wig and eyes). They have become much more affordable in recent years.

 

My grail dolls are a Switch Yiho in NS and La Legende De Temps Roderich, also in NS. I've already got the latter! I'd love to have Yiho home by the end of this or half of the next year, if I manage to keep to expenditure. Still deciding whether Little Monica Renonne would count as a grail since I haven't thought about him (continually) for months but every time I see one I get excited.

 

Is it okay if your grail doll changes? I saw a 1/4 doll called Salome I think the company is called Freakstyle BJD? and I have to have her. What's even better is I found out about Dollshe from the website I found her on and now my grail boy has turned to David from Dollshe. So handsome!

She is the only doll I've fantasized about the many shoes, clothes and wigs I want to purchase for her and not just the general - "oh she's pretty" that I normally feel for my other dolls.

I shall call her Momo.

 

Oh, I have a new grail to add my list.

Previously, I'm sure I said something along the lines of a Delf Azure being my grail. In a sense, he is still is... but not as he is currently. He'd have to be a rerelease. Or, even better... a Model Delf release! Can you imagine a Delf Azure in brown skin? I'd probably buy him in every shade Luts offers, lol!

On the note of tan, a pukifee Pong Pong in tan skin has been my Grail since I first laid eyes on one in 2013. But a new Fairyland kid has made it to grail status for me... a tan Minifee Karsh. I recently decided to reshell a character of mine into a smaller size, and a tan skin minifee Karsh would be perfection! I don't think it'll be too difficult to get either one of the latter, it'll just take some excellent timing or another FL tan event... really, Azure is the truest of the grails for me. I've been in the hobby so long, you'd think I'd have an Azure by now. *sigh* one day! One daaay!

 

I didn't have a grail doll for years. I was fortunately always attracted to dolls that were in stock or orderable. Now I've decided I *need* a tan Minifee Karsh boy to round out my collection. But unless FL decides to start making tan again, looks like a long hunt ahead of me on the second hand market T_T

 

My grail doll is Volks Charlotte for now Actually every doll I bought was always the "grail" until I saw the next grail doll XD

 

For the moment it's Soom's Zinc the blond demon in grey skin
