What is your grail doll?

Mine are: 1 Volks Lucas (have!) 2 Luts Soony 3 Dollshe Saint 4 Dollmore Lusion Dahlia (whom I'm sure I'll never have)

My grail doll is actually a basic doll that I'll be getting hopefully in a few months. An Iplehouse Rexy. c:

 

I don't have a particular grail, more like I have an OC I need to find a doll to fill. For now I chose DC Ingemar and I currently have him on layaway ;v;

 

I know I replied before, but I think I want to change my answer after reading all these replies that others have posted. Even if I do obtain my grail doll(s), I would not stop buying sculpts, for me, any sculpt that I fall in love with would be a grail since I'm a finicky person. Also now that I thought of it, SWITCH Hahwa isn't my only grail doll, there is also SWITCH Soseo, IOS Blood(Possibly, it might be a passing fancy), Crobidoll Working boss Laen, Luts Anette, Iplehouse Bianca, and gods know how many more. In a sense, nothing for me would permanently be a grail(Besides SWITCH Hahwa, and Esthy Peroth, goodness, how I love those two sculpts).

 

I like this point of view. Answering this topic was really hard for me because like you said, any sculpt you love is like a grail. And if you love more than one sculpt why can't they all be your grail dolls?

I have two. One is a long-since-discontinued limited; one is a long-since-discontinued standard, so both of them will require some work to track down. The limited is Volks Shirou Tachibana. He's been my grail for YEARS, practically since I started this hobby. The other is a Dollshe Afghan. She's the one where it's gonna be a flippin' miracle if I can find one.

 

The dll I always wanted to have and missed my chance on getting is souldoll chiron centaur. I so wanted to have him since I found him on the website and was happy he was not limited. So I started so safe money...and when I was almost finished...souldoll was not selling him anymore.
It really got me sad and since then I am stalking the marketplace like a ghost...
Guess I will never get my hand on one....

 

My sister's grail doll is Luts Mia, but I have yet to find mine.

 

Migidoll Miho and Iplehouse Boris are dolls I've been looking at since I heard of BJDs, although I doubt I'll ever be able to justify spending that much even if they are really stunning sculpts. Hopefully I'll be lucky and find a second hand one of those sculpts or something one day ^_^

 

My grails are Migidoll Miho and Ryu, as they're the dolls that got me into the hobby in the first place. I've got the sleeping miho head, and I just need the open eyed head in order to completely have one of my grails. = v = Another grail is a Littlefee Bisou boy and Littlefee Leah, as both of them look exactly like my baby cousins.

 

My grail doll was a Chicline Rou. I saw him a long time ago on Etsy and fell in love with him....only to discover he was discontinued. T_T This brought me great sadness, but it did not deter me. I kept a sharp eye on the marketplace, though he would always slip through my fingers.....However, finally as Lady Luck would have it, Fairyland did that brief sale back in September. So I took advantage of that and through much string pulling(and hair pulling) I managed to scrape the funds to get him. And now he sits arrogant and beautiful in my room. Though I admit, I don't play with him as much as my other boy...he's still very precious to me and I just love looking at him.

 

I have a few grail dolls. The ones that I would classify as hard-to-find grails are Volks Lieselotte, Volks Lady Sylvie, Volks Victorique de Blos, and Volks Chii. (wow, and this is coming from a person who never really cared for Volks when I first saw them! )

The dolls that I classify as grails because I just love their sculpts so much are Fairyland Feeple 60 Lishe, Volks SD Nana, Iplehouse YID Asa, and Pipos Cheshire. Actually, most of the dolls I want I classify as grails because I just love them so much and if I only had to choose a select amount, any one of those would make me really happy. Especially if I could get my hands on a Lishe or a Nana and a Pipos Cheshire.

Grail clothes on the other hand are too many to list! Mostly the VolksxBaby collaboration sets though.

 

I obtained my grail (delf If!), and I don't really have anything I'm completely lusting over right now. I'm sure that will change

Or any of the Switch dolls! I wish I had seen them last month or two months ago! I keep seeing they have a Taeheo head, don't do it! Hahwa is cool looking.. *drool*

i dont have a grail doll yet! I have a lot of dolls that i like the look of but nothing i'd call a "grail doll"

 

I've always loved the Elf-El model. It feels very different from the regular El. Somehow more magical.

 

Volks Dollfie Dream Saber Alter. She is gorgeous girl who looks great no matter which wig or clothes she's wearing.

 

I have two grail dolls Souldoll Souloid Rachel and Sleeping Rachel. I guess they're kinda expensive but when you put them together you quickly find out that they are.... Sadly since I already ordered a different expensive doll there's no way I can afford one of them right now.... But I still don't regret ordering my Isaac!

 

Dollzone Hid. It's no surprise therefor that it was my first doll too. I'm glad my favorite wasn't a limited.
