Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. What is your material preference for wigs?

    1. I'm team synthetic. By the time I finish styling my own hair, the last thing I want to do is go through it all again but tiny this time. :sigh It might not look as realistic, but the reduced styling effort is soooo worth it to me. I also like big, thick hair and a lot of the natural wigs seem to be more on the wispy side, which is very cute but not my personal preference. I also just want my dolls to have the super smooth, silky hair I know I'm not getting without any chemical treatments. :XD:

    2. Although I have a mix of both synthetic and natural wigs my personal preference is for natural. I like the look and feel of it, some synthetic wigs can feel very rough, some are excessively shiny but for me there’s also the fact that wigs shed and synthetic are adding even more fine plastics into the environment.
      The natural ones I have are wool/fleece based but I know there are various plant fibres that can be used only they’re not as easy to find (probably as I don’t know what to look for). I want to try making my own.

      While we can’t help the material our dolls are made of currently we can make a conscious choice about what materials are used for clothing, wigs, eyes, etc. and that’s something I want to try to do.

    3. I prefer natural mohair.
