1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

What kind of fashion style do you typically gravitate towards for your dolls?

Nov 21, 2024

    1. I tend to lean towards, Grunge. BUT my littles are the only ones who wear brighter colors! For a while I was having a really hard time finding out what style each of my dolls should wear. I noticed I go for darker, more detailed, clothing so I just stuck with that lol

    2. Even though I don't have the dolls yet, I already have styles for them. Two of them were heavily based on the fullsets being offered by the company before they became sold out (T^T).

      - Force is an aspiring rockstar, but dresses like a casual punk, wearing jeans, a black t-shirt, red leather jacket, and black leather boots with chunky soles (not entirely platfrom boots, but edging close to it).
      - Rudy is an innocent girl who wears a Little Red Riding Hood type outfit, with her red cloak and hood, a floral print dress, white lacy apron type pinafore, white tights, and black Mary Janes.
      - Charlotte is a privileged rich girl, but is super kind. She wears a white knit long sleeved shirt under a flannel print coverall dress with white panyhose and black Mary Janes.
      - Deborah, like Charlotte, is a rich girl, but is open-minded and gentle. She wears a purple dress with black lace. She rarely wears shoes or tights, but when she does, she wears black tights and black ballet flats.
      - Freya wears a simple rainbow striped dress.
      - Freyr wears a white t-shirt and black shorts.

    3. My first doll I tended to rotate between Lolita styles. I tried cosplaying her as a Rozen Maiden doll or wearing a nice silk kimono, but I always revert back to the same 3 Lolita styled outfits. The rest of my dolls, I bought as LE full sets so most are all in their original outfits. Most either fit into the various sub-genres of Lolita styles or are full-on LE characters from popular animes, mangas, or games.

When I was into Gothic Lolita stuff, I tried to find things to coordinate with my first doll, but it was hard as I'm short and curvy and at the time the Gothic Lolita stuff was only available in Japan where even international Large was still like a smallish-medium so it was either too expensive or didn't fit me right. I'm into Regency styles nowadays (Cottagecore in some aspects), but my first doll is still Lolita as well as most of my dolls. I had found a somewhat Regency looking outfit for one FCS doll but she's not my doll (I share this hobby with my husband) and my go to dolls wouldn't be able to sport the Regency look too well. I have staple looks for myself and I feel my dolls have their own staples as well which is kind of funny and cute to think about.:XD:
