1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    2. I'm currently in the process of doing an elf ear mod on my resinsoul tang, I finished sculpting the ears into him, and now I just have to sand and color match (first mod ever ^^') then I'll be doing his faceup

    3. Thank you! I'm a sucker for the Volks F-17 sculpt.

@Inari I love elf ear mods! I hope yours goes well! I'd love to see them once they're all done! I've only done a few, still pretty new to additive mods, but I loved it.

    8. I went to Jo-ann’s this weekend, so now I have a few more plans! I’d like to make a dressing gown for my resinsoul lan with some nice sheer blue fabric I got, and a waistcoat for my dietrich with some black spider lily brocade!

    9. Currently, I am waiting on the doll I ordered in January to get home to me, so that I can begin shooting my BJD webcomic again. I have the summer short stories planned, but this doll is going to be in parts of it. I do my photoshoots by backgrounds and settings rather then in order, so I need the doll on hand. I hope he gets shipped to me soon, because I am in the mood to take some pictures and work on the stories.

    10. Oh, you have the Blossom Boys, right? I remember you from Instagram! Did you make all the costumes for them?

    11. I make most of their clothes. I have a few bought things tossed in every once in awhile, but I spend a lot of time making their stuff. I've been doing a huge sewing project lately, because my boys never seem to have enough clothes. lol

    12. Finished a rainbow striped jean jacket for my 1/3rd crew. they're still arguing over who gets it. My 2 SDMs now both have an outfit each. I need to bring them to work to do a photoshoot on some outdoor sculpture. Last but not least the doll room is getting an upgrade to all Ikea Blaliden black cabinets. These are mostly for OT dolls but with the Barbies out fo the way the DDs and Smartdolls can have more floor space for their tea set up.

    14. For years I wanted to do a Maria from the Webtoon Cursed Princess Club doll cosplay. A few months ago I finally finished her and sewed her outfit. It was nice to have her done, but does anyone else feel post project underwhelmed? I feel like a lot of these projects I take more joy in the process rather than the end goal, which, as cheesy as that sounds, still leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

    15. Congratulations on completing the outfit!! I bet it looks amazing!

Yes, I know what you mean. If I finish up on a big project, even if it was a lot work and tiring, when I am done I am like, 'Now What?' and I feel a bit restless if not a little like I am missing something in my life at the moment. Here I was pouring this time and energy into something, and now I have nothing to pour it into.

I try to give myself some little projects to not feel so aimless after a large project, maybe organize some doll clothes, or wash them down, or touch up some of the faceups, whatever I can do to occupy myself until I get back into a normal routine.

    16. Wow - lots of fun projects!!!

I’m working on the last British Naval uniform coat for my Master and Commander group (ca 1810).
This one is for Lt. Pullings - he already has his undress uniform coat - now working on his dress
uniform coat. Capt. Aubrey’s dress uniform and hat are already complete.
Thankfully, Lt. Pullings doesn’t need a second hat! They were quite the nightmare to make.

Here are Lt. Pullings and Captain Aubrey in their ‘undress’ uniforms - with Dr. Maturin and his sloth

    17. I recognised them! I’m surprised as I normally don’t recognize characters.

Myself l’m working on a crochet skirt 1950ies flair style, granny square jacket, reshaping baby onesie, reshaping baby slippers, Versailles dress is slowly moving. Not even talking about almost done sweater for my husband. Each project gets worked on depending on my mood. The skirt is no thought, just move the hands, granny squares are easy stopped any moment. Onesie, slippers, and dress need sewing machine but mine demanded retirement after about 45 years of faithful service. The new one should arrive tomorrow.

    19. It's cool to hear about everyone's projects! Really looking forward to seeing them finished :)

I am currently working on a NGE cosplay for two dolls. I still have to finish the wigs and touch up the outfits (and wait for some parts to come in) but I'm looking forward to seeing how it all looks together as it's been a lot of trial and error to get the plugsuits somewhere :sweat I now have way too much red lycra so I might as well throw in another cosplay project right after haha

    20. I think l can finish the granny square jacket in time for the Birmingham con. Have 30 squares out of 60-70 that l need and can do 5-10 a day while watching tv. Then a day or 2 to join them all, make trimmings, add buttons. I wanted the skirt ready for that but had to unpick about 2/3 of what l had done already so no hope now. It’s really time consuming because it goes wider and wider with every row. Will probably take a few months.
The sewing machine arrived, had it set up and l’m very happy how it works. The onesie and slipper projects will be done soon, just had some chores to finish first.
