1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I like both, but I must say that I think boxes are better.

    2. I prefer boxes. They stack better and I think they protect my dolls better at home. I like that there's space around fingers and the faces in a box. Plus I put extra sets of eyes and shoes I the box with my doll. But a bag would be great if I took my doll out somewhere. I'd want to have some nice thick, white pillows to wrap around her.

    3. I prefer company boxes. I can always store doll stuff in them and they're really handy that way. ^^
If by bag you mean carrier bag, I would want that for my bigger dolls, because now it's really hard to find good doll carriers for dolls >60cm. =.=

    4. I do like the idea of a carrier bag, though so far the only ones I truly use are the handy little Soom zippered pillows (I don't use the ResinSoul bags, as they're just too tiny, but I still have them around). In lieu of that, a good quality box is nice to see, and I have some I'm quite impressed with, but I'm starting to run out of space and having to consider possibly budgeting in a small climate-controlled storage unit to store them if they keep multiplying. (I think I'll try to clear out a bit more of the closet first.) I don't store my dolls in either, but the bags can be nice for transport, and the boxes are terrific for protecting them when moving, so ultimately I don't have too strong of a preference.

    5. I prefer a box, and more safely and to store much more simply :)
and then it is possible to store something in these boxes

    6. Hm... Resinsoul sends their dolls in a nice faux-leather zip-up bag with a handle, but I have to say I hardly use the thing because it's a tight fit and I'm usually transporting at least two dolls at a time. While it is a handy little deal and a nice bonus, I couldn't see myself finding a use for any more bags like it, so I have to say I prefer boxes. The company logos on them can be so pretty, and there's something so official about unsheathing that lovely thing from the bubble wrap... plus I can see that it would be easier to stack them in a closet or slide them underneath a bed for storage.

    7. Boxes, if only because they look cooler.

    8. Definitely boxes. I think they're safer than bags/carriers would be for long-distance handling.

    9. Personally, I've only had dolls sent to me in boxes, and have no complaints of them at all, but I am curious about the bags...
Firstly, the idea of a free bag that will fit the specific doll is great, but I also wonder...would a bag rather than a box affect customs in a positive way, too?

God knows the huge boxes definitely contribute to them...

    10. I really like getting bags. I've never had a problem with getting dolls in bags and they're way more handy than the boxes.
