Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. When You Just Can't Figure Out Who They Are...

    1. Have you ever had a doll that you bought because you couldn't pass them up and then could not figure out who they were?

      The 2 blank dolls that I've purchased sans face-up have been the most difficult, perhaps becuase its the facial characteristics that help you recognize and bond with them. A CP/Lutz Elf Shiwoo and my Spiritdoll Bastet.

      What did you do to find out the doll's character?

      Once they had face-ups that I liked, they fell into place in my clan. Both were sort of opportunity purchases and not planned.

      Are any of your dolls currently without a character?

      Nope, Bastet got a faceup a month ago and she's turned into such a sweet little kitty.

      Which of your dolls has been the most difficult to figure out?

      MY Elf Shiwoo has been re-faced twice. That led to re-costuming, re-wigging and a re-invention of character.

      Did you eventually give up on giving your doll a personality and sell them?

      I still have these two. A few other dolls I fell out of love with and sold but not these ones.
