1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you find clothes for Iplehouse F.I.D male dolls ?

Feb 25, 2023

    1. I didn't find a thread about that (if there is one already, I'm very sorry).

I'm thinking of adding an Iplehouse F.I.D male doll (not sure which sclupt yet) on the muscular body to my collection. But F.I.D dolls are larger than MSD but smaller than SD. And unfortunately, Iplehouse doesn't offer a lot of choices regarding F.I.D sized clothes. So I was wondering where you guys buy clothes for this size *_*

I usually buy clothes on Volks and on Taobao but I've never really seen F.I.D sized clothes on these websites... :shudder

    2. FID aren't popular with Chinese collectors, so Taobao is sadly pretty low on stuff :...(

SartoriaJ is a huge resource for clothes though. Etsy has some bits and pieces too. This person has both EID and FID and sometimes does stuff for their FID (Taobao shop available too): https://instagram.com/littleoverbearingceo
I also had luck with Taobao sellers that allow for custom sizes!

    3. Thank you ! I already knew about littleoverbearingceo, but didn't know about SartoriaJ. I'll definitly check on them ! :D

    4. I'm told that clothing for Raccoon dolls also fits FID. I know that works for the women, less sure of the men.
      You might compare measurements.

    5. Thank you ! I'll check for sure :whee:

    6. Jack's wardrobe at present is just SartoriaJ-- I got him one good outfit and then I've been able to sort of personalize it with jewelry, but yeah, these boys are HARD to shop for. But, there are a couple of patterns for FID from designs by jude on etsy! (if that link to one of them works-- it's a bit of a pain because they're in the same category as the big boys so you have to check). So if you are or know a sewist, that's an option.

    7. And on the same note as above - Antique Lilac has free clothes patterns for the FID boys! https://www.antiquelilac.com/tutorials.html So - again - if you can sew, or get someone to do it for you, those are available too!
I could have sworn there was a thread looking at what fits FID, but I might be misremembering, as I can't find it either - maybe it was for Raccoondoll instead.

    8. Oh that's good to know ! I started sewing a few months ago, this will be very helpful, thank you ! :cheer

    9. Thank you !! For uncommon sizes, sewing is one of the best option... I started because I have a doll (not a BJD) with very uncommon features, I guess sewing will help me more than I thought for my BJDs as well :sweat

About the threads, I didn't find anything talking about clothes that fit F.I.D specifically, but I didn't search for raccoon dolls. I've heard about this company but didn't know their dolls were similar to F.I.Ds :frownyblush:

    10. I've found that slim SD shirts actually fit my FID model body pretty well. They're usually a little loose in the stomach, but that's easy enough to tailor out of most shirts by simply sewing the side seams tighter myself. The shirt I've currently got my boy in, I actually bought from StardreamerStudios for one of my F60 Motion boys. I didn't change the fit at all for it, because I like how well the current fit prevents that awkward lumpy look that shirts sometimes get over jeans.

Please forgive his hair. His wig hasn't arrived yet, so I've improvised. :XD:
