1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Feb 10, 2011

    1. I've kept my doll boxes because they're just so pretty. :D They're also kind of a reminder of just how much my dolls mean to me and how excited I was when I got them. :aheartbea

    2. Golly, I'm a packrat. :) I keep all of the doll boxes (if they came with) as well as their original shipping boxes (to put the doll boxes in, ha!). Since I don't display the dolls and they're of different sizes, they need a place to stay/sleep in and to keep each person's fullset/posessions tidy.

    3. I keep almost all my boxes..... OTL

    4. I still have the boxes, why I'm not sure.? lol

    5. I keep all my boxes but the first one

    6. i keep my box, cos i store my dolls in them when i am not playing with them. technically, since i requested the seller not give me the box for my 2nd doll (collected the body by meetup haha), i only have 1 box, and both my dolls are kept in them. this kind of saves space, but is somewhat of a squeeze. if anyone's interested, here's how i keep them: click. that's an idea for people who do keep the box to store their dolls, but are strapped for space.

    7. I've kept all of my doll boxes "just in case" and I was really glad that I did this summer because we had to move. I knew, my dolls are safe inside them.

    8. My dolls sit on my bed. I keep wigs and clothes in Aie's box. My tiny travels in his box)

    9. I kept my Ringdoll box because its pretty and purple :) and i use it to store things like clothes and accesories. i threw away my Asleep Eidolon box because it dont have much space and its wasnt pretty
      >.<

    10. Yes, I think the box is pretty so I just keep it. lol

    11. I've kept my doll box just in case as well. It would be a lot easier to ship my doll somewhere in her original box than it would be to find another box to ship her in.

    12. Yep I kept all of mine over the years. And it was a good thing as I am moving now and I feel happy that my resin kids are safely packed in their tough protective boxes.

    13. For a while I was using my doll boxes to store my dolls and/or their accessories. However, that has become problematic as I acquired more and more things for my dolls. I now keep the boxes in storage. I'm not ready to get rid of them entirely, but I don't need them in my house right now.

    14. I use to keep my first two dolls in their boxes, but after I cleaned out my dressers I gave them each a shelf and put their boxes in storage. My largest one(65cm) stays on the bottom shelf while my YoSD and YoSD head lives on the top.

    15. I've kept all of mine, except for Vida's, as she did not arrive with her original one.

    16. I've kept all of mine, but now that I am over 50 dolls and in a unit I am going to have to decide which dolls are moving on, and toss the boxes of those staying. Room is SUCH an issue!

    17. I've kept all the boxes so far, but I rarely make my dolls sleep in them. IDK why I keep them, seeing as I never plan on reselling, but for some reason I just can't get rid of them...... Like, the box makes it official, or something. x_x;;;

    18. I'm definitely keeping my boy's box, haha. I love keeping boxes. :'D I keep almost all of my shoe boxes, some of my model horse boxes, and pretty much any pretty box I get...mom complains, but oh well. xD

    19. I've kept most of my boxes, I had to throw a couple away because they came to me 2nd hand and were pretty beat up. Have over 30 dolls and space is definitely becoming an issue. I'm torn between keeping the boxes of some that I know may need to go in the future or just tossing them all out and dealing with the packaging when the time comes..bleh!

    20. I keep all my boxes and plan to always keep them. I don't know how to explain it clearly in english, but they are like a part of the doll for me, like her wig or clothes. I usually keep my dolls in their boxes most of the time.

I have to admit that all my dolls are tinies, If I had a bunch of tall bjd, Im not sure I would say the same thing.
