1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Feb 10, 2011

    1. I have 2 doll boxes right now, one belongs to my Miyu and I'll probably be keeping it for a long time unless something happens to it. The other one belonged to an EL I just sold. And it belonged to another boy before that. It's pretty worn out and had to be taped up a few times...so it's probably time to let it go.

I do like keeping doll boxes though, same with the packaging that comes with my doll clothes.
It's just useful for storage. :)

    2. That's just sad...I would have never done this to my dolls, would always love them more than the boxes, because the purpose if to get the doll, not the box anyway. The box I personally admire as well, though I won't admire any further than my dolls.

    3. Mine are still here. I use them to store my own cosplay wigs. XD

    4. I have with me almost all the boxes because I'm sort of sentimental about futile things XD
But well, I use them to store my dolls accessories and they were really helpful when I did some renovations in the house: I put the dolls back in their boxes and they were safe from dust and whatsoever the whole time.
So, in the end, I'm glad I kept them all, here you can see a recent picture I took for a meme I was tagged in:

Atm they are hidden under my sofa XD

    5. All my dolls are display in a room that has blacked out windows, no pets and no smoking. Why would I keep them in a box, when I bought them to enjoy, unless I plan to sell a doll?

I'm sorry, maybe if I could read, I would have answered the question correctly. Yes, I keep all my boxes. Hard to find space to store.

Everything that comes in that box. One never knows.

      In my doll room closet.

    6. I keep only the little cushion-pillow, the boxes usually are ugly and take too much space.

    7. I keep the doll box, pillow, etc. in case i need to store or sell the doll sometime in the future. I also keep the packaging in case i need it later, for shipping anything, unless i think i have enough for now. U _U;; pretty easy to become a pack rat with bubble wrap and cardboard boxes heh

    8. I keep the doll box, and anytype of bubble wrap or pillows, whatever, inside the doll box stored incase i ever sell.

    9. I put them on the balcony, stack together. Most have been thrown away, leaving a few quality better of Volks boxes.

    10. I stack them on top of each other underneath my bed. :o

    11. These three are now at Noyiril's box because it's biggest one and I keep it open, but I guess that I should try to put them somewhere, though I afraid so much to put them on the shelf because I worry so much that they will fall down and went broken D; So that's why I try to keep them as near the floor as possile so they can't fall that high... Though my room is also very small so it's a little bit hard to try to find them right place where they could be...

    12. I keep all my boxes for storing doll clothes, wigs, eyes, etc. and for shipping out other dolls to new homes.

    13. I don't keep them in the box unless for personal reason.
They usually sits on my room table ^^
I still keep the box as i think its nice and convenient. to put stuff xD

    14. i keep most of the stuff but i don't keep the bubble wrap unless i need it to ship something right then...the outer box, their box, pillow, if they have a facemask, and any freebees they send with it...

i was going to keep my doll boxes in a HUGE suitcase i got free that goes up to my waist, but unfortunately my DZ box was too big to fit inside, so right now they're kind of spread out everywhere in my room in a mess while i repaint it...

    15. I have their boxes under my so they don't take up valuable space

    16. o.O I never got a box ... I got a carrying case with my doll. That tends to be propped up against my bookshelf, in the corner of my room, or stashed inside my closet.

    17. Under my bed ATM. Haha, I'm temporarily living with my grandfather until my apartment falls back into my ownership, so all the important boxes I own have been stuffed under my bed to save space. I'm half a pack-rat so I like to keep functionable boxes and the like to store stuff I want to keep but don't have much use for right now xP

    18. I keep them behind my treadmill. Sometimes I worry about the unlikely event of falling backwards onto them when I'm exercising, but they're on top of a whole stack of other boxes, so I'd probably do more damage to those. I don't keep any dolls behind the treadmill. That's too risky.

    19. On my bookshelf at the moment, not under the bed since my bed frame is kind of rickety and I would worry about something snapping suddenly and crushing the doll. :atremblin

    20. So hard! I keep all my wigs in one huge box, all the shoes in another, all the clothes in another (I've got lots of 70cm boys!). I've got those big boxes standing upright as makeshift pedestals as well. I put the smaller boxes inside bigger ones, & shove them under my bed. I keep most of the boxes in case I move or need to store the dolls for some reason. I have plans to buy one of those Lowe's outdoor storage units to put my sewing stuff (boxes of material ~sigh~) & decorations in, & will put those boxes in there as well :D
