1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Feb 10, 2011

    1. I have actually purchased boxes for my SDs who are/were without one. Second hand shipped without, and I'm weird about it. I want everyone to have their box, even if it wasn't their original box!

Edit: As to where, in top of my closet, in top of the spare room's closet, in that closet, in some large bags, and on some shelves in the spare room. (I use it for sewing, mostly.)

    2. Wow, I love your bookcase!!

I display my box's either in my craft room or in my curio cabinet :)

    3. Due to laziness, my only doll's box is sitting in the path between my bed and room window, which is fairly big. My doll stays in the box when I don't have her out so I guess it is more convenient that way.
I do hope to find a better, more suitable place for the box and my doll in the near future though. I just cannot be bothered to clean right now, but I want to keep my doll's box under my bed or in my closet, I suppose. There is really no other choice I would have other than that.

    4. So far my dolls live in their boxes since it means they are well protected and kept in a dark place when I'm not having them on display. Space is a bit limited for me so I use the boxes as a place to store the dolls since so far that is the best way for me to save space. I feel the boxes will be good to have if I move some time so I don't want to get rid of them for that reason.

    5. They just chill on top of one of my cupboards. Rather haphazardly stacked too...

    6. in the garage..they are just too big to keep inside

    7. In my office closet ... until an unknown ceiling leak destroyed that idea :(

    8. They've been in the closet, but I think when I go clean it out they'll be getting moved to under the bed, they're one of the few things thin enough to fit under there and it's unused space otherwise. I move often enough that I can't get rid of them, they've been the safest way to transport the collection so far.

    9. I keep them near my bed since I don't want to throw it away. :hamster:
