1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Where do you keep your BJDs' boxes?

Feb 10, 2011

    1. I do keep the box because that is where I continue to storage my dolls. Plus for me it is the easiest way to carry them if I have a road trip with my friends to a convention.

    2. I use them as beds/storing placing for my dolls. I don't like to throw them away if their company boxes, but if their just generic, i toss 'em.

    3. I keep all my dolls' boxes along with their default items in them. They are kept cos the boxes are so pretty and also for practical reasons. They are really useful when you are moving house or if you sold them to an overseas buyer.

    4. While I only have one doll so far so only one box I do plan on keeping all others I purchase in the future. I move a lot and feel better having somewhere safe to pack the doll while I move.

    5. I used to keep the boxes, but recently was annoyed by the space they take up, I've decided to give them away or toss them. The exception, my puki boxes. I love them for random storage.

    6. I keep the boxes for when I have to travel. I often go to the coast where we have a caravan and she always goes with me. I don't have anything to let her travel safely in except te box. ^^

    7. I keep my boxes to store the dolls in. Convenient that way.

    8. I keep them since it's a nice way to keep things organized, but I also worry that one day I need to sell them in emergency and I know it's important to keep the box if some of the dolls didn't come with certificates and things.

    9. Yes ,i keep it .

    10. I kept my boxes because they're rather pretty. If I was to sell them (hahaha, no), it would be nice send them off as they came.

    11. yes i keep the doll box when my dolls arrived,i use the boxes to store their belongings such as their clothes, wigs, shoes and their parts, tat is a easy to keep their things arrange in place

    12. I've kept all my boxes so far. I really don't know why I have though.

    13. I keep all my dolls boxes mainly for "collecter value" i guess

    14. Luckily, I only have one BJD box so far and it's MSD size, so it's not too much of a bother right now. ^^;; Plus, it's a great place to store clothes and pack away my boy when people are over (aka, my little sister's friends, since I share a room with her DX). Even if I did have more boxes, I would still keep them because I'm very into collector's items...and it just seems right to keep the boxes. My Pullip boxes are starting to invade my personal space though, so I'll have to find a new storage area. XDD

    15. I keep their original shipping box and the box they came with... just on the off chance that I'd have to part with them... But otherwise I keep the boxes and store the dolls themselves in them, for convenience, since I don't have a place to really display them atm, if I did I'd probably use it to store their clothes and accessories. C:

    16. i keep my dolls boxes so i can carry them around in them and i store clothing in them

    17. I kept my doll box and some of the packing bubble wrap. And also made a bed from it! if they came with a pillow you can lay the bubble wrap on the box for a bit of traction (my doll pillow was really silky) and use the pillow as a mattress. I don't ever plan to sell her but i'm not able to build my dream bed for her yet.

If you do want to make a bed out of the box it really won't hurt anything, just put the bed set on top of the box and if you ever have to sell just take it off and pack up the doll :P

    18. I kept my doll box and I keep my dolls there, till I finish a special cabinet for them ^_^

    19. I keep them as I always have a doll I am selling that didn't come with a good strong box, and can use their box. I also have 3 holding odd items of my dolls in my cube units. Having them 2 deep makes it easy to slide the boxes in them.

    20. I keep my boxes.. this is where I store my bjd's if they are not in use.
