Which color of hair do you want your doll to have the most?

I adore redheads, the whole palette from coppery ginger to bright red. The funny thing is though, I neither own nor plan to own a redhead in any observable future. *sigh* I'd also love to go into bright non-natural colours such as grass green or aqua blue, but the only character of mine that would wear something like that is Icy. And there's the whole story behind this candy pink wig.
What I do/soon will have is a gang of blondes of different tones apparently.
I have no particular preference on style, that really depends on the character. Though I fancy having a doll with a long skillfully braided fantasy wig >0

 

I find pastel pink hair or platinum blonde irresistible for my dolls more so of the former though!

 

My favorite hairstyle is a black hime cut. Twin tails are nice too with the right outfit. Anything more princess-ey or bratty, but not too opulent or sweet. Like a more subdued gothic lolita style.

 

I tend to lean toward dark brown, although I'm a blonde myself.

Alex started out with a dark brown wig, then a dark brown with red tones, and now has a grey with light brown tones. My MK Cris has a beautiful reddish caramel wig waiting for him, and the DF-A practice head is probably going to have a sky-blue wig. Or something 'unusual' and bright to match his wardrobe. I've plans to make him my bright boy who isn't afraid of wearing pink or bright colours!

But I find myself gravitating toward dark brown wigs, when browsing.

As for style; Alex's all seem to be shoulder-length. The wigs that have worked well enough on him, that is. He's had loads of others, in all kinds of styles and colours, but only a handful have really worked on him. I don't know if it works, as he's obviously not worn it yet, but the caramel wig I have for my MK Cris is a boyish bob (a bit like a little boy waiting for his first visit to the salon) with a little curl at the ends. The DF-A practice head; I'm thinking choppy short 'do to go with the carefree fashion-sense he'll have.

I absolutely adore auburn hair. I also love red hair. (Pair with green eyes for my favourite combination.)
I generally prefer more "natural" colours when it comes to hair, but I can see the appeal of any colour. My favourite colour(s) may not go well with particular eyes, clothes etc.

 

At least 3 of my dolls are blonde. I've always loved natural looking blonde hair. *^*

 

Like @GreenTeaAnarchy, pastel pink is definitely my jam--maybe because I used to keep my hair that color, but it's such a pain in the butt to maintain! Dolls don't have to worry about their black roots growing right in again. :P

 

Yeah girl, pink hair is where it's at! I also used to maintain pink hair but - well, dolls also don't have to worry about keeping a job in a conservative community, haha!

 

I'm addicted to pink hair (I think because I wish I could have my pink hair back). Its hard because I want my dolls to all be unique but I some how keep being drawn to the pink hair! I want all my dolls to have unique hair colors though :P

 

I'm currently planning my 2nd doll and she will have tan skin.
Also i'm a big fan of fantasy-ish designs, so i'd loove if she'll have white or pastel pink hair

I don't get attached to a particular hair colour it all depends on the character. Usually I like the things I can't have for myself - so when I do get my first doll she will definitely have phases of nearly every subculture starting at goth and ending at sweet lolita with everything in between xD

 

I love all colors! But I would love one wig like my picture.

 

I'm pretty much the kind of person who chooses a wig color depending on the doll's skin tone and character. That said, I really love pink hair, and would love a soft bubblegum pink wig on a doll. I just don't have a doll I can put one on right now and fit aesthetically

 

Dalphia, my first an only doll, has brown hair with natural looking highlights. It is alpaca, so either the alpaca had spots or multiple animals worth of fiber was mixed.

However, if I were to get another smaller doll, I'd make her a red head.

 

Silver grey. I just love that hair color so much. Many of the characters and people I like have that hair color and if I could dye my hair, it would be silver grey as well.

 

I have a lot of different hair colors in my dolly family, but black seems to be the most popular. I also love bright red hair too.

 

I want a bishie silver grey wig but so far haven't taken the plunge with buying what I want

 

I love lightly coloured hair on real people (matched with green/grey/blue eyes especially!) unluckily I was cursed with dark brown hair & eyes, so, since I get to choose any dolls hair & eyes, I will definitely go for blonde/white/pastel pink because I think it's beautiful!

 

I'm a bit of a sucker for Black or Silver/White. I don't know why...maybe because those colours go with so many skin/eye colours. Also probably because I have black hair and always wear either black or white clothes... could be a connection...

 

Gold! Not blond. Gold. It was so hard to find the right color I had to end up making one myself out of yarn. I found the perfect shade though called Honey. It's almost finished, and I'll show it off when it is!

But in the future if I get another doll, she's definitely going pink. XD
