Which color of hair do you want your doll to have the most?

My dolls all have colours based on their characters and some of those characters aren't human and don't have natural colours. lengths also vary wildly. I've got....

Red heads (more or less)
Quin: medium auburn, short hair
Aischylos: burnt pumpkin, past shoulders
Haniel: baby pink w/white tips, past shoulders
Darius: fire-engine red mohawk w/black shaved sides
Ferrous: deep royal purple, waist-length
Kysmirhea: fire-engine red, shoulder-length

White/Grey/Silver
Fei-Lau: white, past shoulders
Sleet: white, hip-length
Khale: cream white w/turquoise under layer, waist-length
Vuchel: white, shoulder-length
Vashin: dark grey w/light grey tips, shoulder-length
Sarojin: medium grey, shoulder-length
Moswen: white blonde, waist-length
Nassano: white, shoulder-length
Misu: pale blond, hip-length

Brown & Black
Dolf: medium brown, mid-back (in a ponytail)
Ryzel: black, hip-length
Kijika: black w/royal blue highlights, shoulder-length
Malachite: black, waist-length
Tyhlian: medium brown w/honey gold tips, mid-back

Odd/Unnatural Colours
Gunari: neon green, shoulder-length
Jaiseki: pastel blue in front, pastel green in back, short in back w/mid-chest length eartails at the front
Jolen: light blue, ankle-length

 

I went through my wigs and found out that I have more black wigs. Mainly because I have more dolls that need them and each one needs a specific style. Some don't work, some just do.
It's kinda sad, I only have 4 colors. Black, blond, red, white.....coz each of these represent a clan.
It'll be cool one day to pop up with a pink wig or a multi-colored wig but I have a feeling that's never going to happen in the near future.

 

I'm a sucker for red (bright red and wine) and it took all my willpower not to give ALL my boys red hair XD Though lately I've had a love of blue wigs. I also tend to prefer longer styles to short.

 

I like brown haircolours, from light brown to dark brown. I like reddish brown too

 

brown have a lot of shades from red brown to black brown that's why it's my favorite

 

My favorite wig color is purple, followed by dark red, then black. Unfortunately, purple doesn't always work for a doll... it's so dependent on the skin tone.

 

White and that really light blonde color that almost looks white. It especially looks good on white skin.

 

I have no real favorite hair colour, it depends on the eye-colour and the face-up and clothing - also most of my Real Pukis have blond tones - light and dark-blond, I also like red hair on some of them and also brown- it really depends on more things which hair-colour I choose. So hard to say which is my favorite hair colour

 

I like the grey/silver colored wigs the most. I have two one long silver and light purple at the bottom and a short dark grey with teal mixed in. Teal colors would be my next choice probably because my own hair usually has some teal dyed in it. All my doll have odd colored hair. Normal colors are just too boring.

 

Brown have a lot, light brown, coco brown, sweet brown, dark brown. etc.

but I l love carrot haircolor.

 

I love white or silver hair for most of my dolls. Right now, I mainly have white and other light colored wigs but I plan on getting a few purple wigs and a green wig for Harvey and a reddish wig for Piers. I mainly like lighter wigs because I hear dark wigs tend to stain.

I prefer long hairstyles but I end up fixing them every minute I'm holding or playing with them. I put my guys in short wigs if I don't want to fuss with long hair.

 

It totally depends on the doll and what I think goes best with the overall style.
But for the most part I like wigs with just a single solid colour, short or long depends on the doll.
Almost all of them have natural hair colours, like black or brown, though.

 

What hair the doll gets depends upon a lot of things. In my collection there's plenty of everything actually and a lot of bright color streaks as well.

 

I have certain characters I'd like to make into bjds, but everytime I go to find a wig that would fit their hairstyle once I find that wig in wine red color I'm weak. I didn't think I was so interested in dark red hair but apparently I am as most of what I have bookmarked is red. ^^;

 

....looking back at my collection, I think the blond color is the most dominant one so I will choose that one. I try not to use blond wigs that much and it is not really the color I want my dolls to have the most but...but these dolls have a life on their own! some refuse to wear another color.


The colors my dolls have: Kyoshi - Ivory blond (1), Dantes-brown, Rosiel-orange, Jubilee-pink, Almond- blond (2), Santi-blond (3), Valin-green, Chester-blond (4), Lumiel-bleach blond (5), Noah-dark brown, Seb-blond (6), Xavier-black, Soran-blue, Sasha-mix (blonde with pink, blue, violet) (7).

I think I need a red head in the family XD

 

RAINBOW! I currently have one true rainbow wig. I'd love a rainbow wig for my tiny, but so far haven't found one (5-6 inch). I love unnatural coloured wigs, I dye my own hair in unnatural colours too.

 

I have a serious weakness for Blonde- all colors. All lengths/ styles

 

I like long hair red, and black with wicks of colors.

 

For some reason right now I'm on a black hair kick, perhaps because it's dramatic. It's also suitable for many different ethnicities, so I can switch between dolls.

 

Most of dolls have long and straight black hair, which is how my hair is and what seems to fit my ideals of aesthetic beauty. When I started buying more female dolls, it never occurred to me to get any other color wig besides back, it was almost automatic. The only exceptions to my family are the guys, most of them have short black hair, but I do have one blonde doll and a couple white and blue haired dolls. Almost all of my dolls are of Asian descent too, yeah.
