Which color of hair do you want your doll to have the most?

I try to vary the colors amongst my dolls. So no particular color as a preference. Once I settle on a color then I love to get varied wigs in the similar color for each doll so they can change-up their hair style depending on how finicky they are each time I pull them out for some air.

 

My doll is going to have a short sandy brown wig with black underneath (specifically, the DW-227 Cream/Black wig from Luts). I've already started planning the style of my next doll though, and I want for him to have white hair. White hair is probably my favorite option overall.

 

i love colourful wigs for my dolls. i guess that might be because i love colourful hair and i wouldn't be able to get colourful (pastel, rainbow) hair on myself (because i have naturally black hair and bleaching would do it toooooo much damage) so, i would want it on my dolls.

 

I'm a sucker for red hair. I like red hair on people as well as dolls. When I was a kid I wanted dolls with red hair too, but they were hard to find.

 

I really like pastel pink/light pink hair ;3

I love pastel hair! A light pink or purple is so pretty. As for "natural" hair colors I really like strawberry blond.

Hmm, I guess I prefer brown hair. Most of them have dark brown curls. Two of my dolls have black hair though one straight, one in multibraids. I do have an odd longing for a bright blue, green and purple wig though. No idea why, and it isn't part of anyone's character or backstory.

 

I voted black only because the face-up he comes with matches with black hair and he also comes with black hair. I wouldn't mind trying other colors, but nothing too bright, but that depends on the color. I did order him a very pale lilac wig, but I ordered him a long black wig as well.

 

I didn't plan it that way. And I usually try a whole bunch of wigs on my dills before settling on the "right" one, but the majority of my kids seem to end up as red heads of one tone or another.

 

I'm realizing that blue is a strangely prominent color among my dolls. I think it's because most of my dolls were intended to have black hair, but blue turned into this weird sort of substitute since it's more "interesting". At the moment 4 out of 11 of my dolls have blue in their wigs, although one is only temporary while I search for her actual red wig she's supposed to have. I really do try to keep it varied however since even those with blue aren't solid blue except for one, the other is blue mixed with black and blue mixed with gray. The rest of my dolls have wigs in shades of platinum blonde, white, pink, purple and soon-to-be red.

 

Teal! My girl will have teal hair once I get her. I've already got the wig! ^_^

 

I love browns for a natural look, and my first girl has a brown/burgundy ombre but with my second girl, I thought Id give pastel a try so she has a gray/purple ombre!

 

It depends on so many things. Sculpt, character, backstory, face-up... they all matter when determining on such matters. Other than that I like to have a good varied mix of colors in my crew. Brown is currently the most used color since there are so many shades of it. I also have a couple of blondes and plans for a red-haired girl.

 

Just having a realistic, attractive red haired wig without bangs is some sort of lost, intangible concept. Carrot ' s a bit too orange for my taste, and I have a red - brown wig that's in the spectrum of colors I'm looking for, but it's too dark even in ideal lighting.

 

preferably dark brown or black. But I do have one with a silver, another with honey blonde and my Pepper came with a white wig.

I like Nadeko to have straight black hair most of the time, the length is medium but as long as it's the right style I'm not too concerned with the length, but she does occasionally change to a red or pink wig because I'm paranoid of ruining her black one. I wouldn't mind her having dark brown hair in the same style though black is definitely her default.
It's not because my hair is like that (my hair is nothing like that), it's because that's what I find most beautiful (for her).

As for dolls that I don't yet own, I think that one of Nadeko's sisters will be a red head (because I love red hair) but that isn't set in stone yet.

 

I have a few, because I'd always wanted a doll with black hair, because I think it's really pretty and I love it for my character because she is supposed to be goth and into alternative stuff. I like it with her face up too.
I've always wanted a blonde haired minifee Chloe, because I think it compliments the sculpt, and the face up I've got. It's really pretty and soft.
I plan to get one of my dolls on my wishlist dark brown hair, and I'd love a doll with unnatural coloured hair, so one of my work-in-progress dolls has a pink wig waiting for her.
There was quite a few colours there, but I have favourite hair colours for different sculpts/characters.

 

I love colors! All kinds. Even multi in a single wig. But I still probably have mostly black!
