1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. Well, I've bought a few things already, and my doll definitely isn't here yet, though I've ordered him. (Yay!) But I'm going to be sewing most of his clothes, so I can't start doing that until he's here to get measurements from. The company lists a lot of his measurements, but not quite every single one I'd need to make clothing using the methods I'm used to.

Though I have bought the fabric for his first set of clothes already. Does that count?

    2. In the case of my first doll, clothes are already here, because I think she can wear clothes my other dolls are wearing (Tonner clothes, basically). It's fun to go through those things and think about what would work with her personality. But I wouldn't mind if I found a perfect doll and he/she had to go without for a while.

    3. i was undecided on the doll thing...then i saw cute shoes and i bought them...and then of course i had to buy the doll lol

    4. I don't have my first doll yet, but I already have a top for her
...& a skirt, shoes and extra eyes on the way.

A friend told me it's like preparing for a new baby.
You gotta get lotsa cute outfits before she arrives.

    5. i got my boy and got cloths at the same time.

    6. Hm... It was fairly recent that I got my first doll. I got one outfit at the same time as him, and then I got some more clothes later.

    7. BOTH! My doll will be coming with clothes

    8. I buy the doll first, then their clothing....So that Im sertain that they get clothing to fit their personality

    9. I had some things for her so that she'd have something to wear when she arrived.

    10. I was considering getting a few outfits a few months ago even though I knew I wouln't be able to order a doll before this summer. Saw a few I really liked but then I thought it might be best to place an order for the doll first... just in case I went for another model. XD;;

    11. I haven't actually bought doll clothes yet XD When me and Yako ((my imouto-chan)) decided to buy dolls our great friend RennaRevelin sent some clothes our way and we sew some clothes. So we had clothes when our kids arrived, but, technically, we bought the doll before buying clothes since we never bought clothes. Though, technically, we did a swap of stuff with Renna ((I sent her doll stuff I sewed)) so I guess technically that can be counted as a business transaction by means of trade. Gah. This is confusing me now x.x

    12. Doll first, definetly. Especially if you plan on making most of their clothes, like me, you need the doll itself for the most accurate of measurements for your doll! XD

    13. I´m buying my Yoru(DOC Homme Ivan) and making some clothes for him myself^^

    14. I've got my first BJD on the way and have had to resist buying clothes before she shows up... as I've learned from other dolls I own they almost never seem to "like" the things you pick out for them before they show up. > <

I've ordered a Blue Fairy girl, so at least she'll show up with an outfit and shoes to wear until I discover her style. ; )

    15. I never plan on buying any clothes for my dolls at all. So I buy them neked!

Clothes come eventually.... it may take a few months, but they'll happen :sweat

    16. My first BJD Dollmore Momo arrived with nothing to wear! I had to order her some clothes pronto! Luckily she did come with a free top from Dollmore which helped cover her modesty! Now of course she has more clothes than I do!!!

    17. I have not enough money for both, then I have to buy doll first, and next month, the clothes XD

    18. doll came w/ clothes and extra clothes @_@

    19. Miyoubi came home to me w/ her default outfit and stuff in tow. It's a good thing coz I'm only good at mending. :3
If possible, I would like my future dolls to come home to me w/ even just one set of clothes, it's okay even if the style sucks but at least they have something to wear.

    20. I always like to have at least one pair of eyes, a wig and one outfit here before a new dolly comes in, so I ordered these little 'starter sets' for my 3 boys.
I must admit though, I also did this to shorten the wait for my dolls ._.''
