1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

1. Clothes first? And what could I do when they don't fit? It's better to suit clothes to doll that doll to clothes : P

2. Well, I order the doll first - but it's such a long wait, so I order clothes in the meantime, so the doll isn't naked when it gets here. The clothes always arrive first.
So I selected "at the same time." xD

3. i ordered doll first. and such a long wait for the first one lol! so i got clothes for her in the wait time. and wigs, eyes, boots. thank you Lishe for being standard sized lol!

4. When I got Ces I ordered him as a fullset, so his clothes came at the same time. I had a very limited financial situation at the time (being so young) so he's only really started to get a bigger wardrobe now that I'm a bit older and working. Sera however already has lots of clothes on the way, and she won't be with me for roughly another 3 months.

5. I will buy the doll first. It won't be going anywhre that soon, so it should be okay to have a naked doll until I find some clothes that I like

6. I don't like buying clothes first because it's harder to match the personality of the doll before you have it and hard to visualize how it will look in certain colors until you see it. But fabric, sure, I stockpile that anyway. We like making clothes for BJDs in my house so actually, I haven't bought anything for my dolls yet and my sister's bought only shoes.

7. As I make the clothes of my dolls, I order the dolls first. And after I start sewing to dress them !

8. I ordered them at the same time. I want to get my doll, and right out of the box, be able to dress him up and show him off!! I dont think my mom would be comfortable with his correct anatomy, lol!!! <3

9. Because I´m still really new to all the Doll-Stuff, I ordered my first Doll as a full package. Doll, clothes, wig and eyes. And now I´m searching for clothes for him. And maybe a brother.

10. I bought the doll first, thinking she'll be naked however the seller was nice enough to give her clothes when she arrived so all i did was buy a wig and do the customizations

11. I just bought my first doll, and the same day i have bought a legging and sweater for her. Just because i didn't buy a full doll, only the body and face plate. So i hate to think that when she arrived she will be naked for some time. I still must buy a wig though, but that is so much difficult then clothes :|.
But know now i think about it, i have won a pair of MSD lolita boots on a doll conversion and that was before i bought a doll;)

12. I sort of went crazy with both the first time..............

13. I wouldn't need to have a complete wardrobe for the doll beforehand, but I'd prefer to have at least a couple of outfits waiting so the poor thing doesn't just have to be bare.

14. I bought my El first, then clothes, if I remember right. Usually it's doll first, then during the wait, I'll purchase clothes, unless they're the same size as ones I have already then there are plenty of clothes waiting!

15. Well, my first came as a re-adoption. So she already had a suitcase of cloths. But she was not happy with them at all so I learned about buying for for her . . . . Now she has a closet full. . . .

16. Well I first bought a wig from Luts and ordered another two from Happy Camille. I already roughly decided on what doll to buy so I started buying dolls next. :)
On the contrary my dolls won't have many choices with wigs, eyes or clothes other than the ones that come with the basic sets.

17. My first purchase were the dolls then followed by their clothes but recently its the other way around, maybe because I'm learning... :D

18. Though I haven't bought my first doll yet, I did buy a couple things for her. I have everything planned out so I'm not too worried about things not fitting to her personality. Buying stuff before hand actually gets me even more excited and determined to work on getting money for her faster.

19. Hehe…I actually bought the doll first but the clothes arrived first…not sure what that counts as???
I remember staring at the clothes and thinking why can't the doll come first!!!

20. I buy the doll first and clothes second, but before the doll actually arrives of course. I don't like leaving dolls around buck naked, lol.
Oftentimes I try to buy the clothes WITH the doll, from the company making the doll so that I can be sure the clothes will be a perfect fit, but this is also costly. Yes, I did pay $62 on a pair of doll shoes just so I won't have to go searching for shoes that will fit my Crobi R-Line. o_o;;
