Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. Well I bought my first doll recently and I got her clothes first. However I would only buy the clothes first if I was sure I was going to buy the doll. I didn't want her to come to me and have to keep her naked until I bought her clothes. I also liked that I bought the clothes first because it is easier to save for the clothes than the doll, and it can be nice while you are waiting for your doll to show up to take them out and imagine the doll wearing them.

      Those are my reasons anyway.

    2. I don't have a doll yet, but when I buy her I will also order some clothes.
      Though I'm not sure if she will actually wear those clothes anymore, when she has a name and character etc. ~

    3. Emm it depends.. because my emily *custom house* was an sudden buy.
      So she arrived here naked and i had to order quickly some clothes and wig and eyes but before her i bought 1pair of eyes,wig and clothes for my supia.
      I wanted to buy the necessary for my supia (even if i wasnt sure to have her) before that i have the possibility to have her.

    4. I find it funny. When I just read random posts on this thread it seems more people buy the clothes first, yet the poll says differently. Did anyone else notice that?

    5. Yes, I do buy clothes for my dolls before they arrive. My first doll was naked for awhile, and that felt really silly. I really wanted toput him on display, but he just ended up being in closet until his clothes arrived. Now I just want my dolls have atleast one set of clothes to wear before they arrive. :3

    6. I've done a bit of everything.
      I bought my first doll with clothes.
      I bought quite a bit of 1/3 clothes before I had a doll to fit them.
      I'm just now buying some of my dolls their own clothes lol.

    8. Doll first. I had ordered clothes for my first doll thinking it would fit her and it didn't. So I prefer doll first then linger into clothes.

    9. I bought the doll first. I bought it in person and bought some clothing as well at the same time just to have something to cover him with.

      Though I did buy clothes that I wanted for my most recent doll before I bought the doll, because I knew I would be buying him, and the clothes happened to be on sale a few months ago.

    10. I bought my doll first, then a little bit later I bought her clothes and shoes and a wig. So I guess you could say I got them around the same time, even though they were from different places. :3
