1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. my first doll came with his clothes. the fcs (due to arrive in january) already had his clothes waiting for him. the shiwoo i plan to order soon also has clothes (which arrived today actually..) i ordered them, as every time i looked before, they were out of stock and so i thought MUSTBUYNOW!!!!:sweat

    2. My first girl was ordered with no clothes but I used her measurement and made a couple of dresses and a trouser suit for her - though she was barefoot for a while.

      My latest boy though, had a whole set of outfits two pair of shoes a set of Japanese swords and a violin waiting for him!

    3. I bought my first two dolls & immediately ordered some clothes for the girl but not for the boy. Stupid me! Thank goodness he fit in some clothes that I had for another type of doll. All my dolls are clothes horses so they've gotten tons of stuff since. There's more dolls now too but still more than enough clothes to go around. Once it quiets down around here I plan on sewing & then I'll probably have to have a virtual garage sale of extra clothing. Oh, the fabric's been here long before any of the dolls arrived though. I've been sewing for dolls for close to 20 years & buying fabric all along. If I never bought another piece of fabric, I'd still never use it all up.

    4. When Riku came I already had the gift clothes from Wifey as well as some clothes and a wig I had made for him... although they didn't fit too well. :sweat

      Dee came with some clothes from her previous owner and I had made her a pirate costume since the first time I met her was when I was contemplating buying her and bonded with her while seeing PotC.

      I made Tally a little dress to wear when she arrived and that week I went out and bought her Kelly clothes.

      Killia is coming fully clothed, wigged, shoed... Spoiled brat... :sweat but most of that is Christmas gift items from the company I bought him from.

    5. Personally, I bought my girl so I could make clothes for her, so I don't think I count. But yeah. I bought her first. ^_^;;;

    6. Well, I ordered my first and then got clothes for her while I was waiting for her to arrive. It was a DoD doll, so I had about 6 weeks. ;)

    7. I bought my doll first thinking oh I'll make her a whoooole wardrobe! It will be so much easier compared to making Blythe clothes! Got the doll, still half naked! I underestimated how completely lazy I am.

    8. Lol, I bought clothes first only because I didnt want my doll naked when she came!

    9. Lucky for me my Si came in a set (not a fullset Si) the seller was sending him off with his clothes (which weren't many to speak of. Poor boy). So he didn't come to me naked (Well he was naked when I got him). But I wish he had a stronger variety of clothes now, because it's easy to get a bit dependent on what they come with, instead of appreciating their look as it forms. They kind of come with a set image, and it's hard to build around that into something else sometimes (at least for me, it's been).

    10. Well so far i've been pretty lucky. I've boughten all my dolls off of someone here in the forum...and with the exception of like one or two dolls, they all came with clothes.

      When BrightFires sent me Ringo she sent me a wig, eyes and a set of clothes even though he was bodiless for awhile. I was very pleased and happy for it. Dad would have had a cow if he was naked. O_o;

      Kishi came with lots of clothes (in fact she shares with all the girls, so i havent really had to go shopping for the girls)

      Joan came naked so while i waited for her i bought a few friends2bemade clothes. So yeah, doll firt, clothes second.

      Cleo and Sawyer came with at least one set, and are easy to buy for...barbie and bratz all the way! XD

      Motoko came with a few clothes...and the clothes i had bought for future doll surpringsly fit her...so shes good.

      Oranda has no body...so i'm not worried about her, but i'm planning on sewing it.

      Aiden had no clothes...so i borrowed pants from Mandar, and we made him a shirt and beanie from a sock! XD

    11. I bought clothes for my doll before I actually ordered my doll. I knew which doll I wanted to get and wanted to make sure she had something to wear when she arrives!

    12. Once I know one's coming, I start to buy/make/scrounge clothing, so it has something to wear on arrival.

    13. With Chyou, a definite 'doll then clothes'. X3
      I suppose it's mainly because none of the clothes on the DoD website really appealed to me and...I didn't have any more money to be buying a ton of stuff from other websites because of the accursed shipping fee!

      I recently bought the right pair of eyes from creamyjade through the doa marketplace and also just ordered a load of items from Luts for my boy for Christmas. X3 !! I'm so excited. @w@;;
      I did make him a hoodie sweatshirt before he got home so he wouldn't be naked, and I've made clothes for him since.

      When I get my hound I'll definitely saveupsaveupsaveup until I have enough for everything: right eyes, right wig, and at least a nice set of clothes and shoes, and the doll of course, all at the same time~ <3

    14. I choose first one

    15. I bought the doll first. I like to make them clothes, so I didn't want to buy any. Nathaniel did have to sit around naked for a while. I had made him boxer short (orchid silk brocade, yum) but the company measurements didn't mention his big CP thighs, so they don't fit. He told me what he wanted, though :-)

    16. I usually buy the dolls first, then the wig, then some clothes. I don't mind the doll being bald and naked, as long as I have it as soon as possible. But generally, the doll takes so long to get to me, their clothes and such have already arrived.

    17. With my first doll. I bought a head and a it came with a wig. Then I bought a body with special edition boots gothy boots. I made him Hakima pants and he got clothes later. My second one borrow some clothes from the first. My third had an outfit wating for him.

    18. Well, mine came with clothes. XD;; His wig did come before he did though.

    19. I had an idea of what my doll wanted to look like first. So, I browsed around for wigs and clothes. The clothes was an impulse buy at Tenshi no Sumika. I figured since I was there, I might as well pick up a school uniform and a pair of shoes.

      I did have doll clothes before hand. Most of my American Girl stuff fits my Nara, if adjusted right. So, when I got my Nara, she was ready to for photo fun.

    20. I generally like to have things waiting for my dolls when they arrive. I'll purchase the doll first, then buy clothes and things for them while I'm waiting for them to arrive:)
