Well it seems snaps and half openings wins out still. I like snaps too but sometimes with the little ones it makes the opening stick out so much. I use buttons and little loops usually, but maybe I'll start using snaps more. And I can see the head removal thing is a bad idea, unless it's something really special and you want to to look more realistic.Hmmmmmm.
For some dolls, you just can't remove the head! PF have a unique tension cord for all the doll, from head to feet (and from an arm to the other). I have modified one of my PF, so that she has an S ring in the head, and it's very easy to remove the head before dressing, but the other haven't this kind of mod (Tiny S rings are hard to find) and they
Anything but removing head or hands! Although I am not fond of velcro, but even that is better than taking off a head.
I would rather keep things as realistic as possible, so no snaps for me despite my boy's super hard to remove heads >.< Ahh, I feel so lonely in this thread
I prefer buttons up the front, because I don't really like putting my doll in tee shirts and the like... Though, if I do need something that is a pull over, I prefer it to be without snaps because I like the realism and find that the snap adds bulk. I don't mind removing a head every so often... It's all in the name of fashion!
Snaps or buttons are so much more professional looking. I don't want to take off any heads, hands or feet for clothing fit.
Snaps for me, but if I had a Momo, or other doll who's head pops right off, don't bother!! But you can never know what doll it'll be for, so... one snap is perfect otherwise Ingie
Snaps or buttons for me. I don't mind having to take the wig off and slide something over the head, but I don't want to have to remove a head just to put on or remove a garment.
well I think I'm sticking to my little buttons. Snaps when they look good and will work. Thanks all for your opinions!
