1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Which doll company do you most enjoy ordering from?

Aug 31, 2007

    1. Cherishdoll really does have amazing service. They're quick to respond to questions and, when you order a doll, you can even request a specific wig or eye color you'd like to come with the doll. I've only ordered from them so far and it makes me not want to try anywhere else. XD

    2. Wow thanks Louiselle for posting this thread! As a first-bjd buyer, it's really nice to hear about what companies are like when you order through them ^^. And it gives me a lot more confidence in buying my bjd :) .

    3. Dollmore.. since it's the only place I've ordered from, haha. Of course, I'm selling that doll (personal reasons).

    4. Luts. I ordered during the massive crunch-of-death this past summer, and my doll did take forever to get to my door -- but the one problem with my order was solved within a week, zoom zoom, FABULOUS customer service, super polite, love them to bits.

    5. I've had experiences with Luts, DOD and Soom, and I really haven't had any problem with them. Both Soom and Luts were very quick at sending the doll, while DOD took a lot longer, but that's understandable as I ordered a Si just after they came out and they were probably very busy at the time.

    6. Dollmore!!! :D
they have variety of clothes for my dolls :)
actually... they are the only company that sells clothes that fits my dolls....

    7. Luts for me, through and through without a second guess. I love them do much it's hard to put into words. They've been the kindest sellers ever, their customer service beyond helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed and appreciated as a customer every time I had to order from them, they even took the extra mile to combine more orders than they usually allow in one occasion so I'm forever grateful about that fact. I always feel rewarded when I order from ten somehow xD; maybe that's just me. I just love doing business with them~

    8. I love ordeding from junkyspot. Emory always put freebies in with the order and there the best etc.

    9. Volks because they have a stock system unlike the majority of companies, even if it may take a while to restock.

But then I'd also vote, say, Luts for the larger variety of outfits

    10. Company with most attractive dolls... Hum... So many. Let's say Iplehouse. Their releases almost never disappoint me, and I love how realistic their dolls are.

My favorite company regarding business is BlueFairy (if you're ordering basic dolls). They are usually in stock and ship really quickly compared to most companies out there. My first two Bluefairies were here in three days since the day I bought them! (shipping included). It was a miracle or something.

As for clothing I love M3Shop :3 They have a wide variety at very affordable prices.

    11. Souldoll! The communication was great and they answered my questions quickly! They also gave a lot of freebies and the packaging was great.

    12. I'll agree to this.

    13. I've tended to be Dollmore-loyal since getting my first doll from there. They were always fast with shipping, and because I bought my first doll from them, I felt confident ordering from them.

Now, their clothes seem to not be my style, or the style I want to dress my dolls in. It's kind of weird looking. I've got a few that I want to try now, like Alice's Collections.

    14. Oh man, all of the companies I've ordered from directly? Have left wonderful impressions on me and I would happily give them more of my business in the future.

DoD is SUPER for customer service. I had questions, and I'd get pretty quick responses to them via e-mail. I really appreciated how quickly they'd get back to me, and they were super friendly, too!

Iple saved me money on shipping by offering to combine my orders. Which was really nice of them and they really didn't have to do that. I was quite pleased that they were willing to do that for me.

    15. I am a total sucker for Iplehouse. I simply love their dolls. Both my boy and girl are from Iple.

I have found Iple to be nice and helpful, the products hold a really good quality and they ship fast. =)
