Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     4. In the past couple of years, Iplehouse, which used to be pretty unknown and ignored 4 years or so ago, became became quite popular. I'm not sure their dolls are the most seen in galleries but I seem to bump in a lot of IH stuff.

      The company i see dolls the most is probably still Luts... and Soom.

    5. I agree =) Delf El is an amazing sculpt. I enjoyed watching all the beautiful and different Els before, what's so amazing about this doll is how versatile it can be. I remember that this was the most popular doll back in the days...I never got one because it was so popular lol and I prefer unpopular sculpts...now I wish I have gotten one, from the Luts website.

    7. Minifees. Definitely Minifees. And I can't tell one from the other as well. They all look the same to me (except for Ante and Mirwen). Not my preference. Also, Saint and Bernard from Dollshe. Every. Where.

    8. Minifees. Iplehouse. And probably soom & dollshe... But there are also so many of dollzone/dollchateau... Well, that's all i can think of right now. Minifees definately win though. I don't mind, they're pretty, but actually subconcsiously it get's a bit annoying... But just a bit.

    11. This is really interesting thread.
      I read the all posting in here and found that Minife, soom, Iplehouse are very popular in worldwide.
      All three companies were all established in Korea and as far as I know they are still managed by Korean, but in Korea, It is hard to see the dolls which are from those company. We have our doll flea-market every month and I frequently see volks and blue fairy dolls(sometimes luts and peaks wood dolls also) in the market. It doesn't mean that dolls of those three companies are not pretty or good enough to Korean. I just can see that Korean clients tend to prefer animetic-face which looks like anime-characters. (Truly, I have no intention to diminish someone's taste. I like both realistic face and animetic face.)
      And for that reason, they also looks like more focus on the oversee markets in a good way. (Surely Korea has small market volume compared to those other countries.) Anyway, I want to see more various type of dolls in my country. It is really sad that I can see beautiful dolls only on the internet.

    14. Nyoon'z, I think that you're right. I lived a few time in Seoul the last year, and I saw only one doll : mine. But everywhere, even on the plane ticket, I could see a lot of animatic little caracters, so cute, so I think too that korean people like this kind of face. And so I am. That why I have a lot of difficulties to find dolls that I love in my european second hand marcket place because it's full of fairyland dolls, Ipplehouse, soom and french ou american dolls. My favorite mold is the yosd suzuna by Volks, and even if google is full of pictures of this doll, she is not very popular these days on DOA, and she is missing on the frech forum.

      In french forum, we see a lot of dollchateau too.

    17. I see a lot of: Fairyland MiniFee Chloe, Fairyland PukiFee Ante, Fairyland LittleFee Ante, Volks SDGr Lorina, Volks SD Lieselotte, Volks SD Nana/F-01.

      I hear a good bit about: Minifees, Unoas, Iplehouse, Volks.

      In general I see a lot of PukiFees, because each and every one of my doll friends has at least one PukiFee. xD

    20. MNF Chloe,PKF Ante are the ones I see often.

      I've always seen Soom dolls on the MP and I think Iplehouse is getting so popular
      because they are the company with biggest selection of realistic sculpts out right
      now, especially with a good reputation. I also saw DF El when I first joined the hobby
      but not so much anymore. Though I rarely ever recall seeing a MNF El though after the
      CP/Luts split :(

      Also I think we've been seeing Dollshes so much lately because of Dollshe's decision to
      discontinue their main line-ups of sculpts which caused a frenzy of people trying to buy
      them. Later though Dollshe retracted that decision and decided to keep the beloved sculpts.
      From what I saw myself though, it seemed Dollshes were a bit hard to come buy and I've seen
      some on sale before that wave of buying for $700-$800 bucks or more.

      So now there are a bunch back on the MP.
