1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Which of your family members are into BJDs?

Apr 14, 2007

    1. Even though I own them, my mother loves my dollies as well~ She helps me with the sewing ^^

    2. While my mother refuses to acknowledge the existence of my boys my sister is very fascinated by them and has kept some very nice grades after making a deal that she could get one if she kept it up till the end of the year. :)

    3. My daughter (she is 18 now) brought me into this hobby, because she was the first to discover BJD and asked Soom Lazule as her gift for graduation from school and successfull entering eams to the State Musical College in Moscow . But now I'm the one who everyday spends some time in Moscow BJD Club, makes all clothes for our 15 dolls. My daughter is interested as well, but not so "maniacally".

    4. Shockingly enough, my niece is interested in one since she caught me looking over photos of Super Dollfie on the internet. ;o_o

    5. My mom's interest in the doll hobby skyrocketed after our first doll-meet. She is in love with 27cm tinies, and is saving for an OceanMoon Eun-Ryoung.

My little sister likes them, but she's not old enough to really appreciate them. Same thing goes for my brother, but he's even younger than my sister and is incredibly rough with his toys.

My cousin was surprisingly kind and gentle with my doll, and said that if it wasn't for the fact that he was a boy and that the dolls were so expensive, he'd get one too.

My dad despises Valentino, however. :(

    6. My little sister is into BJDs, but she doesn't really come here or keep up with them.. I think because she wants one of her own so bad that it's hard to see all of the pretty ones and know she can't get them yet.

    7. My younger sister collects BJDs, too. Without her it wouldn't be so much fun. It's nice to talk to her about dolls and we spend much time with searching the net and watching owners pics and so on.

    8. My dad seems to hate them (or maybe just the fact that I'm planning to spend so much on one), my mom doesn't really care, one of my sisters thinks they're pretty but are relatively indifferent, and my guinea pig would like to chew on one, but my youngest sister is into them, but she's still saving (and will be for a while xDD). She'll sometimes look at pictures with me and talk about them, which is kind of cool.

    9. My two sisters have dolls, and my mom made some clothes for them ^^ (My dad doesn't care)

    10. I have three daughters, the youngest is into Pullips. The middle doesn't like dolls at all(she CAN'T be my child, haha), when I got my BJDs(all girls)she decided she wanted one, and got a boy, then another, and wants more(who doesn't). My very best friend, got tired of just "watching" me play when she came over, she now owns two!!

    11. My sister's into it too, after I dragged her in. My dad didn't like them at first, but he's warming up to them! He even helped me take photos of my doll.

    12. None of them are! X_____X
My aunt even thinks I'm completely crazy. XD

    13. My big sister! ^^ She bought her first doll after I had four of them so I sort of infected her... ;) My big brother also says he likes these dolls but he hasn't bought one yet. Well others then... they think I've lost my mind for good! :'D (I probably am but..! xD)

    14. None of my family menbers~ But my mum would make some outfits for my dolls if she's no busy~

    15. The only one in my family that collects bjds it´s me. I don´t have any brother or sisters and my parents does´t have too...so i also i don´t have any cousins.....my family it´s really small....so i am the only one who collects things...XD

    16. While my immediate family is rather small (I have 1 sister, my husband has one brother...and my husband and I only have 2 children), my extended family is really big (spread across the U.S, England and now France) and I can still say that sadly I am the only one who collects BJDs. (I have one doll loving aunt that would think they are great, but I doubt she can afford them)

    17. None. :(

My dad thinks there...odd. He acknowledges there existence but really wants nothing to do with them.

I have no siblings (that I know of) so no one else is into them.

My mother on the other hand, when she was alive, was really supportive and helped me make clothes for them.

    18. Nobody, only me :)

    19. my sis likes them , but not as much as me and my dad supports me but my mom is still getting used to them. I just really appreciate that my dad is understanding and slightly interested because im a boy and its hard for me to talk about them infront of friends. so its nice to have dad around. lol

    20. I gave the virus to my mom hihihhihi ! she knits for my dolls and finds them pretty and finally she wanted one !!
