1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

1. I’ll only comment on something’s because I like the pictures or if it says anything that I find interesting. I guess this goes for any posts in general regardless of what category they fall into. I don’t always comment unless I have something specific to say though, I think it is really important to say why I like something instead of just saying "that is pretty" or "that is nice".

2. I simply post to threads that I can in some way relate to. If I can't relate, then I can't really post, as i wouldn't know what i'm talking about. LOL

3. I actually comment more in gallery posts than anywhere else because I feel safer making comments about how nice someone's doll looks or something like that when I'm so new to the community here. Posting in more "serious" threads is a little daunting!

That being said, I generally don't even look at a post unless it has a subject line that grabs me. If it's just something like "Look, here's <insert name here>" I'm not nearly as likely to click on it as a post with a quirky subject line, like "The day <insert name here> had a thrilling encounter with the eggbeater!" Titles like those just tug at my curiosity (I'm a cat at heart, what can I say!)

Also, not having a doll of my own yet, I'm always very drawn to arrival pictures, because then I get to get all buzzy and excited about when I finally purchase my doll and she arrives. Plus, it's fun to see all the new doll members in the community!

I tend not to comment a whole lot though unless it's a picture that I'm really impressed by. I also won't comment if what I have to say about the pictures has already been said a few times already by other people because it just seems redundant. I do tend to comment/consider commenting more on pictures that have few or no comments though, just because I know I'd be happy if I got comments myself, and less happy if I didn't.

4. I post if I feel an immediate and strong reaction.

5. I post in the gallery because the photo is interesting or clever, the doll is beautiful, or sometimes if there are no comments on someone's first post to the gallery, I find something nice to say about their photo or their doll. I dislike for people to get discouraged when they first start out in this hobby. It's so exciting to get your first doll and even more fun to share it with people who appreciate it. Everyone on the forum, even the great photographers among us whom we all admire, had to get the courage to post their first photo. I think sometimes people forget that this should be fun and are too critical of beginners.

6. Usually purely because the pictures are nice.Other reasons might be that I like the look of the doll, the story is good or so on.:fangirl:
Idont really know who are popular here and whose dolls are famous,so no special comments to those from me.

7. i post if the doll is beautiful or just handsome. and sometimes i am really bored and just want something to do. :sweat

8. I usually only post in friends threads because I usually get the same from everyone else :( . I've stopped posting my doll pics here for now, at least until I get my confidence back.

9. I post when I'm excited about something - like when I like someone's doll, or I'm interested by a piece of new news?

Also when someone needs help with something, I like to try and answer to see if it helps them out ^^

10. I can´t look at all the galleries, so when I´m watching pics, I post a coment if these pics shows me some feels... For example when I see pics in that the dolls look like real persons, or when they really shows me their feelings.

Sometimes I post if I want to give my opinion or ask something. But if I feel that there´s nothing to say, I don´t post. It´s simple.

When I receive some comments I get so happy ^^! But if there´s no comments, Don´t mind, it´s OK, besides there´s too galleries to comment! (Don´t you get stressed?)

11. I think everyone has a specific taste. If something fits into that taste, then they are likely to comment on it to show appreciation for it. Unfortunetly, at the same time, people are reluctant to comment in the negative, which i think is biased. Either way, i comment to show appreciation for the posting of others with similar interests.

12. I look at a lot of threads in the galleries, but I'm most likely not going to comment on it. I only really leave a comment if a) I know the poster personally and like them or b) the photos blow my mind. Which, even then, if I've commented on something of theirs that blew my mind before I trust they know that I appreciate what they're doing, so I don't double-comment for them.

Unless, you know, it's really amazing.

13. I try to comment, but most of the time I cannot come up with something. That's because I just... am not very good at that.

And sometimes what I say don't really make a difference, and when I get no reply, I start to get a little sad since I'm not sure if my message had any meaning to the owner of the doll I complimented on. Or even the doll herself.

-sigh- Oh well, but I like others' dolls, and after long while of saving and waiting, I'll soon be owner of 2 beauties as well.

I am sooo hooked on ABJDs.

14. Because I can think of something to say ^^;;

15. I comment because I like what's being shown. ^.^ Say something nice or don't say anything at all, eh?

16. I comment when i really feel strongly about the pictures. I hate just saying "oh this is nice" to everyone cuz i don't want to feel fake. I mean i would never lie and say i like something when i actually don't, and its impossible to comment on every single gallery thread.....

17. I dont comment alot. I comment Because something caught my eye or its just that nice of a photo or whatever that il comment on, and sometimes i just cant think something nice or helpful criticism TO comment about.

18. I tend to comment if my mental dialogue is going, "Oh, that looks like a doll I could live with. Let's pretend I had vast amounts of disposable cash - would I choose her?" Photostories really don't interest me.

Yes, it's all about me.

19. I comment mostly about the pictures. It can take a lot of time and work to take such great pictures...I really appreciate their effort. I also like to comment and thank people for doing the wonderful comparison photos and doll reviews. I don't really go to any stores or conventions where I could see the dolls in person, so it's extremely helpful that people are so detailed with their words and photos.

20. Admittedly I check photo posts if they're MalexMale or a sculpt I love.
I comment if I really enjoyed something in the photographs or if the poster is a friend~
More of the time I just lurk and look at pictures without commenting, a terrible habit, I know~ T^T
