It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.       Xaga Doll Strawberry Shortcake fullset, normal skin colour, with optional high heel feet and hands for the X-F-40 (40cm Loving Heart Girl Body) body

      Was the quality appropriate for the price, in your opinion?
      Yes, generally.

      Did the item look like the sales pictures?
      No. The eyes pictured in the sales photos were not included in the fullset for the doll. I later learned that these eyes were limited edition and needed to be purchased separately from the fullset. They were not listed with the fullset.

      Were you satisfied with the product?
      Not entirely. The doll is very cute, but I’m disappointed about the eyes. This doll is a collaboration with the illustrator Yomi. The pictured eyes matched her artwork. The eyes I received do not.

      Tell us some of the positives and negatives about this product.
      Positive
      • The X-F-40 body is very cute; the proportions are interesting, and the heart-shaped kneecaps are charming.
      • The resin wig is very clever. To attach it, remove the headcap. Place the front portion of the hair in front of the head and align the magnet tab with the magnet inside the doll’s head. Insert the lower tab of the back of the hair into the doll’s head, then attach it to the magnets at the top.
      • The outfit and accessories fit well.
      • The faceup is neatly painted and matches the photos.
      Negative
      • Eyes pictured with the fullset not included.
      • Torso joint not designed to rotate side-to-side.
      • Outfit has some unfinished edges.
      • Default hands must be removed to put the fullset outfit’s sleeves on. No buttons or snaps at the cuffs.
      • Hand system not entirely easy to use. The length of the hooks catches on the wrists even when they are slotted at the position to supposedly allow you to swap the hands. You have to pull the elastic forward so that there is room to take the hand off.

      Would you buy more from this company?
      Unsure. They’ve released some other very cute dolls, but I don’t like the uncertainty of not receiving what is pictured in a fullset.
