1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Your biggest accomplishment for the year

Dec 11, 2014

    1. After I'd given up hope of ever getting him, I got a chance to bring my ultimate of grail dolls, Souldoll Jinwoo, home this year!

For next year, I'd like to start balancing out all the testosterone 'round here and bring some more girl dolls home. If nothing else, Chulyen's lady love. The poor guy's been waiting a long time.

    2. This year, I suppose my biggest BJD-related accomplishments would be the fact that I finally took the 'risk' and saved enough money to purchase my first doll.
Another would be that I joined this forum, as well as a local bjd forum. c:

    3. That I did a good faceup on my fairyland event head, and also get her a body. And got to do a BJD panel. :)

    4. I was able to purchase my first doll, way quicker than expected! No layaway required!

Also, I got to join this website and meet you awesome people ;) and even an owner in my area!

    5. My biggest accomplishment for the year is buying my first BJD and hopefully getting my second one this year. ^^

    6. I started making wigs for my dolls! I also got more luts dolls and that makes me extra happy since they're my favorite company uwu

    7. Bought my first BJD and now acquired 1 more with two more on the way. Also attempted my first face up! Next year I hope to start sewing clothes for all four of them and fleshing out their characters :D

    8. This! I finally got a girl after nearly 10 years... aaaaand ordered a few more boys :sweat

There are more girls and boys in the plans for 2015, though. So hopefully she won't be alone in this male harem.

    9. My biggest accomplishment was after 4 years of being a watcher in this hobby, I finally became an owner! I went from 0 to 5 dolls over the span of 5 months and I regret nothing ;)

    10. I finished my collection when I added SD Lieselotte to my doll family. I never thought I would have reach this point in the hobby. Although there may be dolls out there that'll interest me in the future, I'm pretty content now with the ones I have. Now to focus my efforts on sewing. =3

    11. I found and was able to afford to purchase my sisters Grail doll for her! I had to redo it's aesthetics and get it cleaned up, but I'm going to surprise her with it for Christmas! I'm so excited and feel a great sense of accomplishment now that I spent the day restringing, painting, and sueding it and everything turned out well.

    12. I got my lovely Kilian and Llywellyn (DS Saint) heads to go with bodies I already had. Evz body (RD 01) came home so the twins can cuddle with each other like they did when they were children. Put a MP DC adult 03 body on layaway hopefully for my 3 eyed wizard. Finished the modification of OfKa Lukas! Got a DS Hound from the MP to be the demon sire (daddy) for the half-human Lewis brothers.
So many great things happened this year but I think the greatest was finding a doll group to visit within driving distance! They are a great bunch.

    13. I think my biggest accomplishment for this year was just the fact that I was able to purchase six dolls. I also finally ordered some decent materials for face-ups and it's made a big difference.

    14. I purchased one of the dolls I really wanted! (too bad he won't get here until january at earliest...OTL)

    15. Hmmm...biggest accomplishment would probably be learning how to use paint for lashes and brows as opposed to watercolor pencils. :D

Aside from that - getting a TS MNF Chloe finally! >3<

    16. I improved my face-up skills and did my first female to male mod. :)

    17. I finally pulled my guts together and saved enough money to get my grail doll this year. Two months never felt so horribly long, I swear xD

    18. After 8 years of collecting dolls, I... finally... learned not to be so wary ( read - terrified! ) of restringing!

Seriously, I really did go out of my way to avoid it for that long. I know it's only a small thing, but I'm actually rather proud of myself now for having done it...

    19. Lots of first-time dolly owners. Grats guys!

    20. I have done several of my dolls' faceups, and been pretty proud of the results! I've also learned how to hot glue suede, body blush, and tattoo my dolls. On the acquisition side, I was selected for a Soom lottery doll and also purchased a doll that was limited to 3. Can't wait to have these lovelies home!!
