Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     3. This year I would consider my entry into the hobby. Near january was when I first began to look at dolls again after only having seen them once online (and liking them) a few years back, by june I had purchased my first two dolls (together) from luts' summer event. While waiting for those two to arrive from being on layaway i discovered another doll that I just had to have from bambicrony. since then, I have received all of my dolls, tried my first* faceup, made a pair of shorts for my kiddelf, restrung a leg, and took my two boys to california. I'm hoping to finish off the year with everyone actually in clothes. the only one who's giving me trouble is my little bambicrony girl

    4. I added a trio of long-desired-but-never-purchased sculpts to my crew... Ceredyn, Ming and Artemis. My Volks Alain, Yuri and Shiro.
      If you'd asked me a year ago if I thought I'd finish off 2014 with those three in my collection, I'd have laughed and said "No way. Not a chance".

      Maybe next year I'll finally find the Captain. At this rate, I'm starting to feel like it's not impossible. :lol:

    7. Okay, a new accomplishment was just finished yesterday. Made my first piece of doll furniture - a dresser! It's not the best, but I'm happy with the result for now. ^^

      I finally ordered an FCS (despite having had opportunities to do so and never bothering), I finally visited the Volks store on this continent (on its closing weekend no less where I won a tenshi!), I finally bought a minifee... I don't think there's much else I've done that's terribly noteworthy but I'm sure I'm missing something.

      (There is this one blank head in the head box, but... she doesn't count, since her body's being used by someone else.:sneaky)

    10. I think my biggest accomplishment would certainly be actually getting a BJD! My BF girl will be here next week!

      After I think, seven years of being here (on and off), I'm finally a grownup and I'm so proud of myself for working to afford my baby.

    11. My biggest accomplishment was to start doing face ups and giving all my dolls new face ups and body blushing. This is so rewarding not only because you have full control of the outcome but also because I have saved a lot of money doing them myself. I have done 6 dolls (face ups and body work)....before I used to spend at least $100 for one face up and I was never completely happy with the results.
