Your choice of skin color?

Jun 28, 2012

    1. I've been in this hobby for about a year and have a few in natural skin color but am finally getting my first white skin doll soon. But I think my favorite is probably the colorful ones like gray and blue. They're harder to dress but everything pops on the skin tone.

    2. Normal pink skin has been my choice so far. But I'm thinking about white skin for a future doll.

    3. I love tan and real skin but so far have only gone for white as it allows me mix and match without headaches :)

    4. I like normal skin, however my DOD normal skin seems brighter like white skin.

Will be getting normal skin doll few some..

    5. For photographing I love tan skin tones. I have 12 dolls and 5 are tan and 7 normal pink. I sold the only white one I had as he just didn't photograph well and looked washed out when next to my other boys. My favourites would be Iplehouse special real and Ringdoll tan.

    6. TAN or DARKEST TAN (Richest Tan). They both have that really high fashion Modern, cool feeling!
The "white" resins change color over time and look weird :(

    7. my personal first choice will be white...i do a lot of faceup on my dolls and white skin is one of the easieast to work with since colours shows up really pretty on them. i also enjoy the ghostly look and how they sort of glows in a darkly lit photo
normal skins are okay, but they lack that sort of fragility white skin have. the white skin also can achieve a porcelain like look that normal and tan just can't achieve.

    8. I do like normal skinned dolls, but I tend to like normal yellow over normal pink. I'm not sure why

    9. White. It looks good and is quite easy to turn to any color scheme.

    10. I want a doll in every skin color! Well, the basic ones any way. I have normal, white, and a tan on the way. I would love a darker skin color as well at some point.

    11. I like the lighter skin tones, but I also would like to get a blue doll once I got enough money ;)

    12. I also love green! I do not like cream or fair.

    13. I love white skin, but I never try the special skin color. I have few times done the face up with the special skin, and all I felt so good. But I still order normal and white skin. Maybe I will try special one in the future

    14. use to buy normal skin, plan to get more on tan skin, but never think of white skin yet.

    15. I want one of everything, except any primary colors and black. I could probably do yellow but only if I decide to make a replica Pikachu.

I really want a white-skinned doll, and normal skin will always be a go-to. The thing with tan is that I never liked any of the colors so much. They're always too dark for me. I would like a miniature me one day, but I have a lot of red undertones as well as yellow ones. It would be hard to find a tan to match that, but there's always coffee dying I guess. :/

    16. I love them all! I have normal, white, chocolate, and tan at home. Normal yellow or pink are starting to become my favs, because they seem to age better. My white skin dolls got pretty yellow. I really love the luts browns, but don't have any of those yet. They are beautiful shades though!

    17. I like all the different colors, I guess it just depends on what I'm looking for at the time. At the moment I only house white and normal skin dolls but I hope to have a tan skin and possibly a gray skin doll, it would just be so wonderful.

    18. I'm a fan of pretty much every color! At the moment I'd be more likely to pick a tan or fantasy color if there was the option and it "fit" the sculpt. I currently have dolls in shades of normal, white, tan, grey, green, and purple (:

    19. I'd like to say that I like every color, but I keep ending up with white skin or at least close to white skin dolls. Even my Mystic kids are a light color (even their pink skin is very light). Even my obsession with Anne Rice's vampires is slowly making it's way into my doll hobby. Whoops. xD One day though, I swear I will get a beautiful tan skin doll. One day... After I pay off several layaways- x:

    20. I'm a big fan of white resin, though it really depends on the character for me--but most of my characters are paper-white, so it ends up working out either way XP
