1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Your choice of skin color?

Jun 28, 2012

    1. Aesthetically, I'm more drawn to dark skinned dolls, I really want a nice chocolate colored doll!

    2. Generally, I like paler skin tones that have pink undertones.

As far as fantasy skin tones go, I would love to see a deep purple/violet skinned doll. >.< I feel like that would look gorgeous with some pearlescent powder...

    3. I tend to own pale skinned dolls, but man do I love light blue skinned ones. Light purple is nice too. I love fantasy skin tones but they always seem to come on expensive dolls

    4. I tend toward "normal" or light skinned dolls, mostly because tan options in companies I like are either unavailable or cost extra (and then you can't even sand their seam lines).

    5. My first doll was a white skin doll... but after all the yellowing started... that was too bad. -.-

Then I have had a tan skin doll... that was a flop at all. That tan skin girl have had a lot of marks after a while, what reay bothers me!!!

So.... this is why I like the normal skin dolls more than tan or white skin...

    6. My first doll was 'normal' skin, but that was because it was the only color he came in. My new girl is white skinned but that's because the character is a ghost XD. As to my actual preference I tend to like tan skin and grey skin when they're available. I really like Luts's real brown skin specifically. Once I save up for another doll I plan to get another Luts in RBS, it's just so pretty...

    7. So far mine are all in white, I feel like it's easiest to match (but we'll see when they actually come in). I am looking to get one in normal / normal yellow so I guess a true answer would be it depends if I want the doll for aesthetics or a character
