1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

your style vs your dolls

Jun 4, 2013

    1. I'm learning to balance between the two - but I'm having such a hard time because I'm so addicted to buying things for myself =A=
Lenny and I are pretty different in terms of style. I usually dress in mostly black and a punkish aomoji-kei style while Lenny is 100% mori girl. Sometimes I wear lacy things and cult party kei to match her though ^^

    2. As far as shopping for myself, my routine is usually "hate it hate it hate it hate it, I don't wanna, please don't make me!" ....but then, if the stars align correctly and my mood is right, I find myself in several shops over the course of a couple of days, whipping my credit card out like it's water and I'm in a desert. I think I freak myself out about it, and forget that once I commit to it I actually really enjoy myself. It works out so that I kind of have a big spree once or twice a year to update some basics and accessories, and that seems to suit my real life (as opposed to the one going on in my imagination).

On the other hand, I've never needed to be convinced to go dolly shopping.

    3. hmm yeah i guess im readjusting how i spend my money on myself now. i think this hobby has actually helped me get over my "addiction" to online shopping. now im a tad more patient and take my time making decisions
then again it could just be actually using ems for the first time in my life is whipping my behind so much im actually thinking before purchasing.

    4. I'm not one to be super fancy and dress up. It's jeans and a T-shirt everyday. So, my dolls do dress a lot better than I do. But, I'm okay with that. I'd much rather stare at my dolls wearing gorgeous outfits than wear one myself. So our styles are very different.

    5. I love girlish style :)
Ao i do want my doll to dress like that, but SD girl outfits that i find are very fluffy or too lolita-ish.

    6. Yeah, I am the same. I'd much rather buy an outfit for my dolls than get one for myself. I need new clothes but instead I would rather get loads for them. I think I have my priorities all wrong! haha :d
