Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Hi everyone! I'm so excited to say that Lotus has been recently approved as an on-topic doll! So we can chat about her now on here :)

      Lotus is the first doll that I sculpted in 3D (3rd doll I've sculpted thus far) and recently ran a preorder for. I am super excited to see what everyone does with their girls when she starts shipping out to everyone in January-February of 2024!

    2. Congratulations! It's always good to welcome another doll-maker into the forums!

      Lotus has a very sweet face, and I really like the wide range of resin colors you're offering (that Umber color looks gorgeous).

      I hope that this thread will soon be full of people sharing their Lotuses! :)

    4. Did anyone here snag a prototype?? I was tempted but (1) they sold out very quickly and (2) my actual doll should be here in a few short months, I can/should be patient!

    5. Looks like the Lotus dolls with faceup are delayed... I'll be expecting mine sometime in March/April now.

    7. Lotus looks gorgeous and her range of movement amazes me! I can't wait to hold her in my hands and give her the princess treatment she deserves :blush I ordered a Seafoam Green girl and plan to turn her into an alien with a love for everything cute and spacey 2000s! It was hard not to order one in every colour...

      Also, I'm excited to say that my Lotus has been shipped! I hope she'll arrive soon and safely.

So, of course, the package got delivered while I was at work, then the UPS pick-up place was closed for the weekend, and then I had to wait for the next weekend (this one) to take pictures in daylight. But finally, here she is! I took about one billion snapshots with my phone and tried to pick just a few so I don't spam the thread.

      She's so much fun to pose, her resin looks and feels soft, and I just love the colour! I'm so happy I had the chance to get my own Lotus :)

    11. My Lotus doll arrived on Friday! I ordered beige, neutral face, + faceup. Her faceup is just to die for and she is rock steady on her feet. She also crosses her legs really well, so that's how I have her posed currently. I currently have her in a 6-7" wig with wigcap, but I think a 5-6" wig would be a better fit (though, it's hard to find 5-6 wigs that look good! If anyone has tips, I'm all ears!).

      I only have a few little quibbles - one of her eyelashes fell off as I was putting her eyes in (and of course, when I reattached it I got some glue on the actual lashes, so I'll need to figure out how to pick the junk off without ripping the lash off), and the magnet on the right side of her head seems to be positioned a bit off - her headpiece on that side spins round and round, whereas the other is rock solid and doesn't budge. I'm not entirely sure how to fix it, but I'm pretty sure it can be fixed... hopefully. For now I've just left them off.

      All this said, I would very much recommend her to anyone thinking about getting one during the next preorder. There's just something about her that feels really special.

    12. I've been watching the development of Iris on Instagram, and her and Orchid's bodies make me so incredibly excited! I love how Lotus looks, but Iris and Orchid hit a niche in body types that aren't often seen. Iris in particular I found while scrolling the bjd tag and I was instantly like "what is this beautiful doll and who made them", haha
